Alcohol Ink Stained Glass Card

Hi bloggers!  Alcohol inks are often overlooked but they can create such beautiful backgrounds.  Easily used with the Stained Glass dies to create interesting effects, they should be given their due as they are very easy to use.

The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Rosemary, I'm so sorry about your uncle , it has been a lot fir you to carry lately but stay strong my friend, thinking if you.
Denise, Max is a lovely strong name and is suitable for all ages. His name will grow with him. Enjoy your grandma cuddles they are the best.
Elaine, you must be worried about Mary, I hope she is feeling better soon, you be careful too, you have been through a lot.

Morning Sue. Striking. Today's card is striking. The way your colour choice of inks enhances the subject of the stained glass is absolutely amazing and I look forward to watching your video when I can concentrate on a little while.
Not only was the trip to the Inner Farne Islands out of this world, the 'skipper' of the vessel I went on followed 2 pods of bottle nosed dolphins, what a fantastic sight, especially when a calf appeared alongside mummy dolphin ☺ a day I shall remember for a lifetime - wow.
The day is starting which means its getting closer to enjoying your tutorial. So I'll pass on my love n hugs to you and wish you a happy day from Rock xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, I am so looking forward to seeing this video, I must admit I do struggle with these inks and I really want to get the lovely stained glass look to my cards, so hopefully I can achieve this.

Pam I reiterate all you have said above, special hugs to you my friend.

Stephanie what a wonderful sight to see, 2 pods of bottle nosed dolphins and one of them with babies, a lifetimes memories there.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Morning Sue
Bright and beautiful. Such an effective technique which I have never tried but do love the effect that it gives x
Been 'away' for a while. Managed to give myself an eye infection!! Knocked an open tub of fine glitter onto my head which then went into my eyes - result badly scratched and infected eyes - glitter is dangerous so beware!!!
Then to put the icing on the cake I got an ear infection which made staying vertical rather tricky. Bit like an incredibly successful night out in Newcastle in my younger day but a lot more painful!
I am still struggling to watch TV or look at this screen for long so will be brief for the foreseeable. I confess I am so out of the loop with your news as have been unable to even look at my tablet and Particraft for the last few weeks x
Am hoping to catch up with Laine this evening. We have both had genuine excuses not to have anything to do with each other and Maureen has been stalking me by text so I expect I will have to suffer a conversation with her as well! x
Sending very happy thoughts and lots of love to everyone especially my lovely blog besties x
Take care

So glad to be back

A wonderful look using the alcohol inks for the stain glass dies. I have not tried the alcohol inks yet on the Hummingbird Stain Glass die of yours that I have now. I have, however, filled in each area of the Hummingbird one with silk glitter on acetate using double sticky sheet. It looked lovely. I sent it to family in France as a wedding anniversary card. They were amazed at the beauty.
