3D Gingerbread House

Hi bloggers!  Did you know that you can easily make the Gingerbread House into a 3D project by just using the Gingerbread house roof die with it?  I will walk you through the steps and give you the measurements needed in today's video.  Use an electric tealight (no open flames) inside to make it glow through the windows too!

The winner of this week's Wednesday Card Giveaway is:

Donita Naylor!!!

Congratulations!  Please email me at americansue1@gmail.com to confirm your address and claim your card.

You can see the electric tealight here through the door.  It looks like a flame but do not put a candle inside!!

The finished dimensions are 3 1/2" x  3"  x  4".  All for now, Sue x

  4. Hi Sue,

Such a brilliant concept and it's a fabbie size too! So many of these 3D dies make such teenie tiny things that are quiet useless, but this definitely doesn't fall in that category, so it's fantastic in my book.

  12. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, this is such a lovely creation, I never bought the die but will have to change my mind now after seeing this. The tea light is the perfect combination too.

Pam I reiterate all you have said above, don't worry about the fingers, mine are doing that all the time. I can type over 100 words per minute but these new keyboards with the keys so close together and the extra keys in different places means I have to keep looking at the keyboard which frustrates me, I think there is a little gremlin inside.

Off to a Groovi workshop this morning, got all my stuff packed and ready by the door.

    Congratulations Donita,

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  22. Hi Sue,

Thank you for your gorgeous gingerbread house, my grandchildren will have so much fun making one too. I might even tell the Brownies about it. They have a stall at Cannington Christmas and sell cards, tags and simple gifts they have made to raise funds.
I buy a gingerbread house every Christmas but none of my family like gingerbread so as the Terry's choc orange phrase goes 'It's mine, all mine'. Not even Pete liked gingerbread but he did eat ginger biscuits.

Congratulations Donita on your win, enjoy your prize dear heart.

Results back from all my tests & x-rays and surprize, surprize nothing wrong according to the hospital. That does not explain why I have so much pain in my hips and legs. My doctor is sending me a précis of the results and also referring me to another consultant for discovery. Keep taking the tablets and grin and bear it is the action at the moment. I shall soon rattle.
Gentle hugs and healing prayers to all in need of them. I hope your day becomes kinder to you.

  61. Dear Sue and Everyone,

I was just going to pop in for an eyeful of the card. Wasn't going to comment because of the late hour (in the U.S.) but THEN saw my name. Completely stunned. Incredulous. Remember when I said that the winners would be going around all week not knowing that something good was about to befall them? Of course it wouldn't be me. Looking forward to seeing one of Sue's cards in real life and being able to study the bow, layers and stickpins.

Will watch the video after recharging.

Pam, your three posts were the finest in comedy this morning.
The grandpuppy Dave makes me happy. A bright spot for everyone.

Apple loves changing my name to Donuts. It even happens to me, which is embarrassing for someone who used to be an editor..

Thank you for reminding me that I'm a lucky girl. All of you are my third thing.

Elaine, I have never heard of an ActiFry or a Hologen. I'm guessing electric deep-fat fryer and microwave oven. Glad to hear the birthday boy could put away such a big steak.

Extra love to those who need some,
