Festive Collection

Hello there my crafty friends!  The start of day three begins with an introduction to the new Radiating Star die set.  If you will notice that there is also a new treat cup shape too.  The star has been designed to fit with this treat cup to give you gorgeous shaker cards with a unique look to them!  The sample shown here was made using the new Creative Expressions Golden Stars, but you could easily use the fall away from the Twinkle Star Background shown yesterday to fill your treat cup too!  This die can easily be used without the treat cup too and the outer die area makes a lovely frame for sentiments even without the inner star die shape.  I hope you have seen a few that tickle your fancy so far!  Please leave a comment and tell me what you think!  It couldn't hurt and you might just have your name drawn to win a free set!  What could be better! LOL  I will be back at noon with our next die set.  All for now, Sue x

Gorgeous scrummy card and die. Beautiful star and I love the little golden stars too.
This launch just gets better and better. As lovely as the dies looked when sneaking a peek, you bring them to life on your beautiful cards. Thank you for all your inspiration.
June, you are famous, now you are spotted whilst at an event. Such a shame Lesley couldn't catch you, you both would have loved meeting up, ps can I have your autograph.
Laine, you did have a beauty session didn't you. Grief if that dress was tight on you, dread to think what would have happened with me.
Yvonne, you are doing well in the nicety stakes, Sues launch is having a great affect on you.
Carmen, big hugs for the Kid, he needs all the support he can get.
Daily hugs to all, especially our missing and poorly friends, where is Norah, does she know the launch has started, missing her lovely chatter. Hope she is well.

  6. Good morning Sue,

What a fabulous shaker card to start the day! Beautiful background. Love the design, and the versatility of the new Radiating Star die set. Thanks for giving us a chance to win this star.

Pam - It is weekend. Forget about work. Relax and enjoy Sue’s launch.
Maureen – Don’t ever change. Love your signature. Ha ha ha
Saba – Thanks for clear up the air. I didn’t know if was her English, my lack of English ... or no English there. Don’t worry; I do not intent to share our secret with Laine.
Myra – You are one of kind, lady.
Laine – Oh, dear. Hope you didn’t do any damage to that door. The taxi driver might sue you :)

Dear friends, the Kid called me. He feels a little bit better. He talked to his doctor who asked him to monitor the pain and the qty of pills he’s taken. If there is no sign of improvement by Monday then he has to see the doctor. I could tell he is a little bit better by his voice. I am relieved now. Thank you all for your prayers, good wishes&hugs.Much appreciated.

I'm falling asleep here so will say goodnight / good morning! I’ll be back later.

    Have a great weekend everyone,

  8. Morning Sue. What a star, yes you and the die, both absolutely beautiful only difference is you could turn the die into a shaker card like you have done in this beautiful first sample of the day. Talk about a festive die launch in summer, I get cold shivers down my spine with each new post.
Hope you have a lovely Saturday and have now caught up with all the fab rave reviews you are deservedly getting.

  12. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, I am not going to say that you have done it again because that means I keep repeating myself and the men in white coats might come and take me away and I would not be able to get my daily blog fix........ha ha ! But this star die is fantastic, I love the star twinkles that you have used inside too, can you imagine a little girls face when she receives such a card, priceless.

    Looking forward to noon.

Pam I reiterate all you have said, yes autographs can be given at any time, now where are those dark glasses.......... I would loved to have said hello to Lesley and caught up with her, shame we did not meet, perhaps another time. I hope you enjoyed yourself there too.

Had a good bit of news when I got back home yesterday, my data had arrived from PC World, only took 2 weeks to come through, and then only after I wrote to the CEO of the company and the manager of the customer services dept. to complain. So I know what I will be doing today.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Funeral yesterday, a lovely friend's MIL (95). Went to one last week for a man of 68. Both had one hymn, Abide With Me (no surprise there) and one piece of exit music, Nat King Cole's Unforgettable, quite a coincidence. Both lovely services for special people.

Oh my goodness - what a spectacular start to day three x
Again the star dies are going to be so wonderfully useful at Christmas and they are going to be so versatile throughout the year x
I love the treat cups - they are such fun - who doesn't smile at a shaker card x
I am fast running out of adjectives that can describe these amazing additions to our 'Sue collection'. You get it right over and over again and I think you are probably responsible for many empty bank accounts and bread and water diets - or beans on toast if one is slightly more up market x
Pam - my energy levels are limited so don't know how long this good fairy act will last - it's hard work. I was wondering where Norah had got to x
Yorkie girl - have a lovely holiday - where are you off to?
    P - hugs my friend x
Crewe Trish - thinking of you and sending love and hugs x
Julie - so much more fun crafting with friends. Sounds like Cheryl could be your girl x
    Maureen - have a fantastic day x
Tracy - hello you - how is everything going? Hugs x
Saba - despite everything Maureen told me I am still your friend x
Laine - big laughs at your expense - for you to get stuck in a dress is some mean feat. Lol. Should have spent your money on dies x
Carmen - you stick with me - with friends like Laine you certainly don't need enemies! Lol. Glad the kid sounds a little brighter. I am sending more love and hugs your way x
Well trying to work out a strategy to stay cool. It is not going to be easy. Not a cloud in the sky - it is going to be a sticky day x

  149. Hello Sue,
I'm afraid I'm running very late today, You see the sun is shining it's really warm and it knocks we Brits for six! That's a cricket term ! Lol!
My husband decided he'd Barbecue - now today we are two - tomorrow with family added we are eight! He's not daft! Anyway it was a success and I've been running out and in like nobody's business! He is now asleep! Lol!
As it's Father's Day tomorrow it will have to be special! We will have two special Dads ! Husband and elder son!
Now - to the task in hand! Christmas in the sunshine! Lol!
Sue - the card is beautiful and the Die will be useful all year round. Since we have grandchildren doing exams I thought of it being used in that way! You are the Star of the Show though coming up with all these super ideas! Thank you!
Carmen - so pleased the Kid has asked for help and been in touch! You are all Stars in that Office too! What have I said or done! Oops!
Maureen - there has been a request that you don't get in the way today or cause trouble! I wish I could believe that would be the case! However - that party wouldn't be the same without you and you will get many a hug! Just try to add a little decorum to your behaviour!! Lol!
Laine - Crikey! You have been in the wars! Thank goodness for Mum! Dresses/ skirts and lining can be a nightmare! I know!
    Pam - enjoy the weekend!
June - how does it feel to be famous!??

  180. Good afternoon Sue and the Wilsonettes,
Oh i can just see wee faces and big ones playing with these cards that have that added bit of fun. A shaker card is such a great, fun card to make and children of all ages just love them from age 2 up to 102, they get such a kick out of them. Now having said that this is a christmas card die, with it being a star it could be for any occasion or for to recognise someones hard work. I think teachers would love these in their desks to give out to the pupils that have tried really hard, perhaps they haven't succeeded or maybe they have but it would just be a terrific way of being able to say Well Done.
Thank you flower for another die that as i see it there are more and more things popping into my head for it. Love and crafty hugs
