Hi bloggers! The final post for the Indonesian Collection is showcasing .the Borders and Corners die set. I love how beautifully the entire collection works together. Add a Stamp To Die For into the mix and this is what you can so easily achieve! This set features two types of corners, one that can be used on the inside and one for an outside corner so there is so much versatility to this set. Each die has a separate cutting edge as well. Let me know what you think of this set in your comment. Any favourites yet? That's it for day three, but still more starting bright and early in the morning. All for now, Sue x

Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!
ReplyDeleteYet another triumph in design Sue, such an elegant border and the corners are just so useful and totally versatile....i have largely been guilty of neglecting my border and corner dies, struggling to think of anything original to create with them, not anymore though, i have eagerly watched you and John demo fresh and interesting ways of utilising them over and above the ordinary so that I could now, with confidence, create something different of my own. A beautiful card by the way, loving the colour palette and composition.
I have loved all of today's dies and therefore picking a favourite would be criminal:-), what I can say though, is that I really appreciate the inclusion of a square background.
Ive had a fairly busy day entertaining visitors and taking my babies to the vets for their annual boosters and health check. We managed to negotiate both of them into their respective cat carriers with little commotion....Brodie went in and settled himself down voluntarily obviously forgetting that they are directly associated with a trip to the vet, whereas Darcey has a longer memory and more experience of said trips and therefore puts up a bit more of a struggle, it took three of us to secure her inside! I think that the car journey is somewhat stressful for them, Darcey sat on my lap and cried softly a little but Brodie could have shattered glass with his high pitched howls. Once at the vets they quietened down, Darcey was a pro, she let the vet check her over, weigh her and give her her jab and pill without so much as a murmur, then climbed back in her carrier secure in the knowledge that she was going home. Brodie had to be forcibly emptied out of his carrier and hissed quite a few times as he was being checked over, then to add insult to injury he spat out his wormer twice before the vet admitted defeat. On the plus side their "diet" has worked, Brodie has lost 0.5 kgs and so has Darcey so the vet was more than happy, me too:-)
Elaine, i am so sorry to hear about the consultants assessment of Andrews progress, I was so hoping that you would get some good news. He is a fighter though, this disease doesn't stand a chance particularly when he has such a strong family unit behind him. This news has came at a bad time though for Helen in particular, i hope that she finds the strength to get through it and that you all find strength in each other, family is so precious. I wish that I could offer you some comfort, but what I can promise you is that you are in my daily prayers and thoughts, I hope that gives you a little comfortxxx
Myra, Happy Birthday to your granddaughter, boy, they grow up so quickly...I have missed Maureen of late and I am saddened to hear that she is in hospital...all that gin on her cornflakes was sure to cause herself a mischief:-).....I hope that she will be released back into the community soon and in plenty of time to enjoy her get together with the Naughty Nine, keeping her in my prayers for a speedy recoveryxxx
Pam, hope your pneumonia is clearing, did you have some time off work to recuperate? Take Carexxx
Yvonne, no irritating texts today, what's up?:-) Has your hysteria dulled down to sectionable levels yet or are you still using triple strength Tena Lady and an inhaler after every post? Hope you enjoyed your day lounging in the sun whilst barking orders at your boys all afternoon, as much as I appreciate George topless, it doesn't quite live up to yesterdays little fantasy though:-( Nevermind, you're in no fit state to entertain a gentleman anyway, topless or otherwise!:-) Oh, and I knew you didn't have the staying power to cope with the early starts, its laughable that you assume you are no. 1 super fan because there is a distinct lack of commitment on your part my dear!:-)xxx

Laine I don't blame Brodie one little bit, I'd have spit out a worm tablet too! And Maureen doesn't like cornflakes, she prefers her gin neat!
She is hoping to be back home tomorrow.
