Hello there my crafty friends! You probably figured that I would have at least one country collections (I just love them!) and do! The Indonesian Collection is on offer this blog post and we are starting with the Background. I have done the background in square form as I seemed to have loads of requests for more square shapes so I hope you will like this one. Pam Andrew has a New Consultant , no messing about with this girl she says it as it is , he has to have Chemo indefinitely as the tumor was far too advanced , scans every 3 months, if his immune system keeps going to low for treatment he will have another type of chemo, when his body says he has had enough of this one their is just one more type they can give him ,but no other after this .So sorry i can not give you more positive news , we are all floored at the moment.
Helens Mums Funeral is a week today. the poor girl wonders what life is all about at the moment .

Thank goodness for the long weekend. Surprisingly for a Bank Holiday weekend the weather forecast seems better than usual. The boys aren't working which always makes for a more chilled and laid back atmosphere. No plans set in stone apart from the must see, can't possibly miss reveal of the delights that Sue has in store for the next 5 days!

Hi Sue. WOW, WOW, WOW !!! I have been waiting to see your new Indonesian Collection in action and your first card is absolutely amazing !!! This background die is Sooo beautiful !!! More "must haves" for me !!! I do really love this particular collection because they seem to be more curvy and swirly in their designs. Some of your other collections lately have been more sort of "Art Deco" in their designs with straight edges and points to them but my favourites are more curly ones !!!! Sorry Sue I know I am not very good at describing stuff. I blame it on my "brain fog" !!! I hope you know what I am trying to say. I think all of your new Indonesian collection will be next on my long wish list after the stained glass butterfly die, which I have fallen in love with. Thank you Sue. This card shows off the background die beautifully Sue! I wasn't expecting it to be so fine, I thought it would have been less delicate somehow. :) I have avoided background dies for some unknown reason, why I have no idea. I think maybe my mind may have just changed about them!!

ReplyDeleteI hope this day finds everyone well. I have either a cold or hay fever so I am feeling pretty stuffed in the nasal department. Going to visit my Mum this afternoon. She is still finding bruises and feels more shaken up than when she had the fall but I think that's pretty standard.

Donita square cards also cost more to send in Germany but I still love making them. I think in the UK the cost is just the same as any other.
Elaine, I can't tell you how very sorry I am and so wish there had been more positive news for Andrew. You are all in my daily prayers. Wish I could do more.

ReplyDeletePhew...I finally got here. I've been struggling with a new router since last night. The old one refused to connect to the internet and would you believe it, the new one was just the same. I've been on the phone almost all morning trying to get it fixed. Anyway...wonderful card, Sue and what a fantastic die set. I can see a lot of uses with this one :)

I love square dies, I like the way you xan turn them into diamonds for a different look!
I can see this Indonesian Collection also used as if it was stained glass and placing the different colors back into the die cut for a pretty pattern effect. Another wonderful design, Sue.
