Hello again! This is the first two die sets in our new Necessities category. I am really excited to present the "Baked With Love" and "The Apron" die sets during this blog post. Both sets have been designed to work together, but will work equally as well on their own. These sets will add extra duty when used with any of the Shadow Box die sets from previous releases as well, which is always an added bonus! If you think that either of these sets are right up your alley, just leave me a comment on this blog post and you will be entered into the drawing. Well that is it for today, but we have a whole day full of new dies planned to show you bright and early tomorrow. I will be going back and visiting the Fillables a bit tomorrow and I have a fab day planned for you! We will begin at our usual 6am start, so you won't want to miss it! All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue. A gorgeous card with two beautiful new die sets. The Apron will be a great die to go with the garden shadow box dies and now i know why i have all of them as they all mix and match so well. ReplyDeleteWell I've hung up my pinny for the day giving me time to sign in for the last blog of the day. You just continue to amaze me Sue. What are we - day 2 and so many wonderful idea's and from where you get them from I've not a blooming clue, it's not like you do 'user surveys ' asking what we think would come in useful, it all comes from you, amazing. Before all the family and extended family dies and stamps were born, I use to sit for hours with the laptop on my knee thinking of what I maybe asked for at market and typing and printing them out (even down to adoption sentiments and foster families) but to think of what we'd like in the way of dies, well, you render me speechless sometimes with your ideas and knowledge of what will make us happy (Andy wishes) lol but with each new collection so far I bet they'll be the biggest sell outs since your first designs launched. All I can say is that if this is only the 2nd day, we need to buckle ourselves down for the rest of the show lol you have now made it even more cost effective to invest in SB frames with all the little cuties we have to choose from. Many congratulations Sue and thank you from the bottom of my purse err I mean heart. Roll on 6am. Night night xxx

ReplyDeleteWhat a stunningly cute and fun card, i love it! The apron and associated accessories are fabulous and perfect for the budding chefs amongst us, of which there are many after the rise of Bake Off and similar shows. Who can fail to be seduced by these two die sets, they work perfectly as the main focus of the card or alternatively used in conjunction with the Shadow box die. I am super impressed by the range and versatility of the dies thus far, and just when i think that you must have exhausted your imagination you come up with a fresh new concept that blows my mind.
My only foreseeable problem with this entire release is where on earth do i prioritise? It is clear, even from this early stage, that I can abandon all thoughts of going abroad this year in favour of expanding my die collection....my only stumbling block being the disapproval of my Mum who believes that i should be more industrious with my cardmaking if I am to justify further purchases??!!?!How utterly ridiculous!

Oh Sue, this would be ideal for a very dear friend, Margaret, Sue's seen your baking or heard of your famous baking and brought out dies so that we can make more appropriate cards especially for you my cherub. Thank you Sue for a lovely card but even better these cute dies that is going in the kitchen section of this dolls house in my mind. ReplyDeleteHi Sue, well I didn't make 6pm due to an unexpected visitor and then a *very* late dinner but that does not detract from this lovely card. I love all the tiny utensils and am so pleased to know that they will fit the shadow boxes as well. Having blown the budget earlier this evening on the door/window and accessories, these will just have to go to the top of the list - unless there is something still to come that will supercede them lol.

It's so nice not to be wealthy. Think of the pleasure we'd miss if we could just get everything as soon as it came out. Deciding what to buy and wishing while saving for the next one is fun. Plus the excitement of being a little scared by how much we just spent.
