KInetics

Hello crafters!  First up today is the new Arched Window/Door.  I love this die as it easily works as both a window and a door so there are so many things that you can do with it!  The die set has been designed with 5 separate dies so you can use it in so many ways.  Shown here, I have used it as a door with the pretty decorative arched top piece.  It has been included in our Kinetics categories because it can easily be used in a way to show movement.  The door can be cut in such a way that it will open and close due to the extra dies in the set.  Leave a comment if you would like to be included in this drawing to win this set. Use your special signature on your post so if your name is drawn there won't be any mistake it is you!  Also, don't forget you can hover over the card to have the Pinterest button  pop up and you can save it your favourite Pinterest boards.  The next blog post has been scheduled for 12 noon.  Please pop back by and take a peek.  I am sure you will like it! All for now, Sue  x

  15. Mooorrning dear Sue. What a welcome. These are what I've been waiting for, I love your dies that can be used for backgrounds and I love the striplets from all previous launches, but these brand new designs are what I need to concentrate on for the time being. From the very first SB dies & accessory collections I just knew they would be so perfect for market something different and new and I wasn't wrong, so I know that your change of direction will be such a help to me so even if I'm not lucky enough to be chosen by Random or which ever site is used (I can't remember which name you said at your first die launch) these Kinetic dies will be my first purchase. Both the die and the sample are warming and beautiful, I'm so looking forward to more tutorials for this group of dies, and of course I share your excitement of seeing what other's in this group you plan to share with us during this wonderful launch. So far you should have been awarded with both an O.B.E & M.B.E for your commitment to craft design. You're our number 1
Sending hugs your way and hope you have a wonderfully proud day xxx

  121. Good morning sue and the Wilsonettes,
I lovee how this window is all in pieces as you can change your window to suit your project or i hope make it into a door. This like the fishbowl and the gumball machine can easily be made to suit either or, but what a great welcome home card die or welcome to your new home die set, or as a wedding card crossing the threshold into a new life. thank you flower for things that we actually want to play with, that makes other than pretty cards but actually tells a story.
Well good morning my lovely wilsonette friends and it is past freezing up here in central scotland but oh how lovely it does look with that hard frost on my beautiful hills and fields and roads, just like a beautiful winter scene with the road ways sweeping across and around the landscape of the fields with the hedgerow and trees, they look so crisp this morning and what if it's -4 we're hardy and can take it just for that wonderful sight. A full day to myself today as baby rudolph is with his mummy and big rudolph is at college all day today, yeahhh well at least until 3:30.
It's so nice to see you back Lorraine, i hope that you are feeling a lot better flower. This blog is not the same when you are not there to spar with PP, abit like our Myra and Maureen, they love each other really, but they like to have a bit of fun and Myra can be nice to her sometimes, lol.
tina flower, i'm glad that Peters friends had a laugh or two and got the choice in his music, it would fair lift you up as well because so many people had been touched by your lovely husband and his humour. I hope that your friends still come in now that the hard bit is past as you need them more than ever now. Sending hugs to you flower and Owen to keep you both going.
Hello Wheely, i hope that you are having some good days at the moment but i've no doubt that Billy will be snuggling up to Mum as Tia does the same when i'm not well. Funny how our best 4 legged friends can tell when there is something wrong with someone and know to content themselves at your side just in range for a clap or two. Tia will only go out for me or really anything for me when i'm in, it takes her to be desperate before she will go to her daddy or brother.
I have a wee bolero to finish with the wee hat and bootees still to do, get washed, pinned out, along with the crocheted shawl that i have done for the lass nextdoors granddaughter. The baby was born really earlier in November but is now home and upto 7lb in weight, so they are going through to see her at Perth Comrie on Tuesday, so i need to get my skates on and finish. see you all after with love and hugs going to everyone that needs, wants or could do with them,

  124. Hello Sue!

I love your dies! They are SO versatile so are always great value for money.

    BUT...
I REALLY love your Pierced Squares and Circles but the largest cards I make are 5x7" and 6x6" which means that I would be paying for the larger dies that I would never use. This makes these sets too expensive to justify.
Are there any plans to bring these sets out for the smaller card-maker, e.g. with a maximum of 6" dies? I know that a lot more people are making smaller cards now due to the stage charges.

Love your work - hope we soon see you on Hochanda again!

    Love Debbie

I can see so many ideas for this door - to have it open with so many different scenes behind it or as mentioned before Christmas. My favourite so far though I am sure I will change my mind a few times before the end of the release

  136. Good afternoon lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

I am so pleased to see this particular die this morning, you see it's one of my favourites from the launch.........the accompanying 3D window box accessories are so cute and offer a myriad of options to create a real showstopper of a card. Personally i didn't think of it as a door...doh!...but the possibilities for that are endless. I love your adorable card this morning and the inclusion of a cat really made me smile, how could i not resist? I am looking forward to seeing it as a window in the not to distant future, i love the idea of a 3D window box , how charming:-)
Well, i didn't quite make the 6am alarm call, had a wee lie in this morning....Darcey was up to her usual tricks last night and decided after refusing her supper again, that she needed back out to go to the toilet!!??I was on my way to bed at the time, but then she knew that the little minx...luckily my mum was still up so she waited for her return so that i could get my head down. I knew she wouldn't be long will the freezing temperatures outside and sure enough she was only an hour or so, still, it disturbs my slumber and goodness knows i really need all the beauty sleep i can get!
I plan on a chilled day waiting for each blog post with a spot of daytime tv to occupy me in between...i lead such a rockstar lifestyle you know:-) I M super excited about today's reveals, i don't know if my delicate constitution will withstand all the nervous anticipation.
Tina, I'm so glad that yesterday was a success and a fitting tribute to your darling Peter....its always nice to personalise the moment with songs that provide a smile in memory of that love one and I'm glad your choice brought a smile to mourners faces, it's what Peter would have wanted. I echo Norah's sentiments, she put it so eloquently. Hugsxxx
Pam, thanks for the kind thoughts and well wishes, I'm feeling much Perkier and hope that you are too:-) xxxx
Norah, your hills are indeed spectacular today, we are so lucky to live in such a beautiful environment. I'm surprised and chuffed that someone appreciates and even reads my babbling posts, i am missing my sparring partner though, she still hasn't located that charger but i get a giggle from Myra and Maureen in the meantime. Your shawl and booties sound adorable, a lot of hardwork though i imagine, keeps you out of trouble though:-) xxxx
Hugs to my besties, especially Myra, Maureen, Yvonne, P, Pam, Pat, Wheely, Maria, Lynda, Tracy, Elaine&ANDREW , Frances, Deb C and both Tina's xxx

    Love and crafty hugs,

  178. What is it about door and window cards? I have recently been pinning doors and windows. What does that say about me? Maybe it is this long winter and wishing I could see some spring outside my windows and walk out my door to some mild weather with Carolina blue skies! I know, I know, Spring will come.
