Best Wishes

Hello all!  A playful card using a Gemini die for today  I started with a square of coconut white card and used one side of the Cepheus Tri- Gemini die without the cutting edge in each of the corners. I backed the inside area with white card, leaving the outer edge open.   I added mounting foam to the back to raise it and added it over a piece of wisteria card.  Next I cut the other side of the Cepheus die using both cutting edges.  I backed them in wisteria card and added mounting foam to the back.  I placed them across each of the corners so they slightly overlapped on the ends.  I stamped my sentiment in black on white card.  I used the inside decorative oval from the Charlotte die to create a frame for it out of wisteria card.  I seated across the centre.  I cut a larger square of white card and embossed it with the Bed Of Roses embossing folder and attached the topper to it.  The card was completed with white and wisteria mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  7" in size.

I have had a number of emails about the Pinterest Pin it button not working on the bottom of the
posts.   There seems to have been some changes they have made and now you just need to hover your mouse over any of the pictures on the blog and a "Save button" comes up that you can click to put the pictures on to any of your Pinterest boards.  This seems to be working fine, but please email me if you are still having any issue with it.  All for now, Sue x

  11. Morning dear Sue.
What a beautiful card. It's just so clever the way you design your collections allowing us to use multiple dies to create just one project and that's what I need to work on this year, I need to 'learn' about the tools I have and NOT just use them ! Thanks Sue for opening up my mind to thinking and looking at your collections in a different way. I've read just how gorgeous and different this month's new collection of dies are so I can't wait to see them.
Sending love, thanks, and a big hug to start the day off xxx

  45. Hi Sue
Yet another perfect card. I do have some of your smaller gemini dies which are so useful. Must get back to card making, my crafting time of late has been just clearing and reorganising my little craft room, storage of card now sorted with the purchase of a ten drawer filing cabinet could do with another one but space is a restriction as the room has to double up as a bedroom at times.

  87. Good morning Sue and the Wilsonettes,
This is a beautiful, unusual card this morning flower and so pretty in colours. I must admit to loving your gemini dies as they just change shape and look each time you use them, its their versatility that makes them worth every penny spent on them. I don't know what the weather is like down where you are flower but i'm seriously considering my tennis and badmington rackets tied to the feet, i don't need the ski poles as my sticks are extendable(being off such tall stature they are down at their shortest the now)lol. Please take care if you are going out as some drivers just don't give a hoot about road conditions or other peoples lifes.
Tina flower, sending you down some hugs just to let you know i'm thinking off you and your son. I hope that you have some good friends and neighbours around that can be a source of help and comfort. How lovely(oh that doesn't sound right but i hope you know what i mean flower) that your beloved Peter should go out the way he always did in life, holding your hand. I have always admired couples that go out and still hold hands as if no time at all has passed since they were courting, whinching or going out(that should fit all the ages on the blog i think). Try and accept any help that is offered flower which i know is hard as you just want to be doing something, anything that takes your mind off it not being real, but they wouldn't offer if they didn't want to and then you can be talking to all that flock to your door as that is just what happens. You just seem to have the house quiet again and the door goes or the phone rings and you go through tea and coffee galore. My hugs, thoughts and prayers are with you lovely lady.
Elaine, sorry that Andrew is struggling flower but hopefully forever one day back he will go two forward and soon he will be finished this horrible treatment. The only good thing about the treatment is hopefully it is saving your son's life and will after completion give him back his quality of life before he got the terrible news that changes all your lives, it makes you appreciate just what you have got i found. I was found to have it when my son was 6 weeks old and went through the ringer but that was 17 years ago and although i had quarterly, half yearly and then yearly check ups for the first 5 years, but i will never forget my mum's face as she had already lost her son and thought she was going to lose her daughter as well, so yes it affects the whole family. Sending you, Andrew and Helen hugs just to keep you going.
Well since we look like Alaska has come i am venturing out nowhere today except perhaps to get some coal for the fire so i will wish you all as good a day as possible and hugs to all that need, want or could do with them,
    love and crafty hugs

  89. Hi Sue, a very pretty card and what an ingenious way of using the dies. Love wisteria and white and, of course, the Bed of Roses embossing folder.

I should have gone out this afternoon but as it has been snowing more or less non-stop all morning I have had to cancel. I am sure the main roads will be cleared but we don't get gritted and the side roads can become quite treacherous so it is safer to stay indoors. As the snow is due to move further South later on I hope any Wilsonettes out and about will take extra care, especially if driving home from work in the dark.

Tina and Owen - so glad you have each other. Thinking of you both and sending more hugs.
