Atlantic Ocean Collection

Hello all!  Day four of the first die launch of 2017.  I hope you have seen a few sets that have tickled your fancy!  Today is dedicated to showcasing the latest Atlantic Ocean Collection.  This post is showing off the Background from the collection.  Shown here, it is a square background die which is a bit different from the usual rectangular shaped backgrounds.  The die has been designed with three decorative sections and the separate cutting edges.  There is so much versatility in the way it can be used, I am sure you will be reaching for it over and over.  Don't forget to add your name to the comments to be entered into the drawing to win this die set.  The next post is at 12 noon today.  All for now, Sue x

  7. Sunday Smiles to you. You really tickled my fancy big time with all your very clever and totally ingenious Kinetic designs Sue, and the samples you showed us were gorgeous, I imagined you having so much fun making up those samples, ending with a happy dance ☺ am I right ?
Although I'll leave a comment everyday as I do, I'd like to step down from entering the draw for the frames and tags if I may giving one extra person to take a place. You know just how useful the Kinetic dies will be for me so those are the dies I'm concentrating on for the time being they are sooo adorable. I love this die set Sue, the colours you chose are deep and mysterious and great for a male type card. Really looking forward to the rest of today's samples and treats.
Sending many hugs your way xxx

  13. Dear Sue and my fellow followers of Sue who are agog like me as this release unfolds,

One would think the Atlantic was full of pretty, pretty bubbles!
I've made up my mind. You can send me this die, if you please, and feel free to throw in the chrysanthemum dies as well.
Might as well make that 5,000 sets and send one to each of us! I'd still like the flower, too, please.
Don't they look natural with those bow tails hanging down? That's like something God would do.
I couldn't risk Valentine's Day without the jewel heart, so I didn't waste any hope on winning it. I just ordered it.
But this would make an excellent win!
    Enjoy your Sunday!

    Love,
    Donita

This looks a beautiful die set, I particularly like square dies as I make mainly square cards. I have a few of your square dies and they all cut beautifully and are so versatile, they make a very simple card or an intricate one. Your card is lovely, great colours. I'm off to a craft fair this morning, but will pop back on this afternoon to see your next post.

Now this die is gorgeous and thank you for making it a square die as i make loads of 8x8 cards. Now to day's card, the Atlantic background is the one die which was at the top of my list that I must order, I am a great lover of the 8x8 cards and use them most of the time, this is going to be such a great additional to my collection, love the square in the middle turned to look like a triangle, can imagine so many of my sentiments in there............the idea's are flowing in my head Sue can you catch the vibes please. The there next one on my list is the Chrysanthemum, I am loving this one.

  132. Morning Sue
I'm back - have you missed me?!! x
I cannot tell you how completely in lust I am with this die. In fact all of the dies in this launch have filled me with a burning desire which is a feeling I am not over familiar with these days - if you know what I mean. Lol x
This card is absolutely beautiful. Square cards are the ones I seem to make the most so this is a die which is just got to come and live with me. Oh who am I trying to kid - I want them all x
Well I have returned from the frozen North (yesterday) after having to go cold turkey on the blog which is a traumatic experience in it's own right. But let me tell you, to know that there is a launch on the blog and not be able see what you have done with your creations to delight and thrill us all is a not an experience I would like to repeat in a hurry x
I think Laine told you I had lost the charger for my tablet, which was so frustrating. I thought I had lost the plot. Anyway - and I will not go into the details of this story of mystery and intrigue - my dad had my charger!!! For over a week!!! After all my fuss and frustration and searching he produced the stolen goods yesterday morning as we we were leaving for the train station calmly saying these words - 'oh, this isn't what you've been looking for is it'?
I am incredibly grateful that I have my charger back but could have quite happily throttled my dad!!
Anyway I now feel like I am back in the land of the living after being out in the wilderness. I am pretty done in after almost 3 weeks at mum and dads but have quite a bit of catching up to do don't I?
The Wrinkles are so much better and it was so lovely to see them but I am pleased to be home.
Tina T - I have been thinking of you my friend. Sending you and Owen love and hugs x
Oh it is so good to be back. Bear with me whilst I attempt to get back into the swing of things x
Sending everyone happy thoughts and oodles of love especially all my lovely blog besties x
    Take care

  142. Good morning Sue and the wilsonettes,
I love when you do a set Sue that we can interchange with and mix and match around and this card although just showing one part of the set starts the whole thing off for me.Now don't faint because i like this card but the black in it really sets it off and apart from other cards. The taupe with the black and white is a lovely combination to work with and this is a bonnie die set to start playing with. Thank you flower for bringing another lovely set to our crafty stash.
Nice to see you PP and that your wrinklies are hopefully back to fighting fit or fit enough at least that you can go home with a clear concious, it has been sooooo quiet here on the blog, i wonder why, lol. Glad Mum and Dad are ok again though flower because as a grown up child you do worry about them when they are ill and you are not on the doorstep.
Oh and we have birthday girls with us today so a very happy birthday to both Helen and Wheelybad, i hope that you both get spoilt rotten like you deserve to be and Wheely, i hope that you are keeping a bit better this weather flower, but hugs are on there way down to you just to give you that extra wee boost.
Pam, you must be joking thinking that Myra could be up at the crack of dawn....not a chance, this lady doesn't do through the night getting up, lol.
Well i think it has dried up finally and i can see a wee bit of my hills today, not a lot, but a tad as they are still got the fog and mist clinging to them for dear life. Hugs on their way to Tina and Owen, Elaine, Andrew & Helen, and to all my lovely wilsonettes that need, want or could just do with them,
    love and crafty hugs

  143. Good afternoon lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

What a fabulous card, love the rich sumptuous colours....and the die isn't all that bad either:-)
I don't seem to i do many square cards as such but this die could definitely persuade me otherwise.....it has been a while since you have done a square based collection and it appears that it has been met with great approval and welcome, and quite rightly so!
It seems a shame to label this exquisite die as a mere background when it is clearly so much more. I will happily welcome it to my collection, only obstacle being depleted finances....well, toast and jam for a month would be worth the sacrifice:-)
Happy birthday to fellow Wilsonettes Helen and Wheely, hope you both have a fantastic day.
Myra, have a lie in this morning did we? Well it is Sunday i guess we can let you off this once:-)
Yvonne, its so nice to have you back my dear...yes, i am being sincere, just this once though! It must be so good to be back in your own bed again, and i bet the boys have missed their chief chef, bottle washer and launderer:-) Have you been missed? Well, lets just say, I've been bored with being civil to my other blog buddies and feel the need for serious banter again....no offence my dears but nobody takes an insult quite like Yvonne!
Essential cuddles being sent to my besties and those in need, especially Tina T, tina, Elaine &Andrew, Maureen, Myra, Frances,Maria, Theresa, Tracy, Lynda, Wheely, Deb C, Pam, Pat, P, June and many morexxxx

    Love and crafty hugs

  151. I so like this square card a lot. Like many of those who commented above I tend to go for six inch square cards when having to send through our ever complicated British postal system so appreciate a design that gives me inpiiration like this. My American pal tells me the square cards are not acceptable in the US, if this is true, what a weird situation. They should learn from us!! How else can they appreciate such lovely productions such is today's card?
