You're Wonderful

Hi bloggers!  I have a pretty diagonal card to share with you today.  I started with a piece of coconut white card and embossed it using the Dot Matrix Pinpoint embossing folder for some texture.  I cut a piece of aqua card the same width and used the Cepheus Triple Gemini die edge to cut  a diagonal edge to the card.  The die was used twice to create this edge.  To create the focal element, I used the Maldives die cut in white as the baackdrop.  I cut the Seychelles die in white and layered it on top of the Maldive die cut.  I stamped my sentiment then cut a frame out of aqua card using the smaller die from the Seychelles.  I seated it over my sentiment and adhered it in the centre of the card.  Using the Exquisite Poppy die, I cut several out of white card covered with sticky adhesive sheet and glittered the die cuts with Diamond Sprinkles.  I seated the flower on a bow of thin aqua satin ribbon and added some Lace Edged Leaves as accents.  I cut a butterfly from the Butterfly Background die set out of the same covered card and glittered it and added it to the top right corner of the card.  Aqua and white mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x
