Finishing Touches

Hi crafters!  I am very excited about this next set as it is a bit of a departure for me.  It is called The Family Tree and it features a beautiful simplistic tree that comes complete with accessories like a swing, both traditional and a tire swing, extra leaves, birds, birdhouse, a few small flowers and the word Family (hence the name! LOL) You have actually seen this set being used no less than half a dozen times during the previous posts in this blog launch.  Are you going back to check now??  Shown here, I have used it with the Shadow box die set to create a beautiful scene.  Also up for grabs this hour is the Wooden Gate and Fence die set.  You can see what a lovely touch it adds too as the fence can easily be repeated to create a longer fence section.  Just leave a comment if you would like to be entered into the drawing to win either of these sets. Day five and the final day of our launch starts tomorrow morning at 6am!  All for now, Sue x

The gate, fence and grass dies are a must-have and the tree is so different - yes, I do remember seeing the leaves used on other samples but thought they were going to be a new Finishing Touch! Going off now to make a new baby card using your stuffed animals.

  75. Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

I always, without fail, love your dies and card samples, that's a given, however sometimes a card, die or both come along that gives me a surge of irrepressible joy and excitement, i get fluttery in my chest and thank the lord for Tena Lady!:-)
This is one such occasion when i am so excited i almost choked on my sherbet fruit, lets start with the die, yes, it is a shift away from what we are used to but boy was it a gamble well worth taking. The family tree is gorgeous and so so versatile as you have proved with your previous samples, i love the cute little tyre and swing, the birds and the fallen leaves each of which create a brilliant story and vision. The fence finishes off the scene perfectly, so cute and quaint.
What can i say about the card, it is one of your best to date and provides the perfect platform for both new dies....i would never have thought to use the shadow box and the fence in the foreground but it really works a treat. I love it so much i gave an involuntary squeal upon sight, very undignified of me i know, i can only apologise:-)
Can it really get any better than this i ask myself.....of course it can cos you are the great Sue Wilson!
Take care everyone, i hope you are as thrilled as i am with the launch thus far, its been great so roll on tomorrow!
