Indian Ocean Collection



Hello and welcome back!  This blog post is dedicated to showcasing the new Mauritius die set.  It is the largest die of the three shaped dies in the collection, but absolutely stunning!  It has a lovely design with a linear background to it so it is very striking and a real go to die set as it looks great on any card.  I have crisscrossed it here to create a more square background for my sentiment.  I would love to know what you think so far.  Please leave your comments (for me and to be entered into the drawing to win a die)LOL   Don't forget to "pin" your favourite cards and dies, I have included the pin button at the bottom of each post.  Want to see what island is up next?  Meet me back here at 3pm and I will reveal it to you!  All for now, Sue x

    Another gorgeous card. Great die set, I love how the linear detail near the centre radiates out and is a different orientation from the outer linear detail, and then a curved floral detail for contrast - brilliant!-

    As Myra says also my favourite so far. Love dies to use on square cards. Usually make 6x6 so this looks ideal. Thank you Sue for such wonderful dies. We really are spoilt for choice.

    This one's my absolute favourite of the Indian Ocean set (I had a sneak peek on Joanna Sheen's FB page a few days ago and this one stood out for me!).     Hello again Sue,
    Now please don't faint on us at what i am going to say but i like this black and white card because of the linear design, it just goes in my head black and white. A lovely card for a good range of people i think and for a good range of occasions. I think this Indian Ocean set is going to prove a good purchase and a popular set to use in general.

    Hi Sue, I looked forward to see your cards created with Indian ocean collection! I do not know if there will be a video about this card but it seems that you are using the Mauritius die 3 times for the central piece and the butterfly frame die 4 times for the background. I think the Mauritius die is my most favourite of all your dies in this collection, well except the background, then the corner and border set, oh who I am kidding, I just love them all !!!!!!!     Well, what a success the launch has been thus far Sue, no need for butterflies over how it will be recieved, the proof is in the many fabulous compliments up to this point:-)
    This is my favourite die of the day , I just adore the linear detailing since it's something that I don't recall having seen before. Your stunning card shows us the myriad of possibilities with this shape, I am excited to see what else you have up your sleeve.

    well that has done it now, how can i be good when you show me beautiful and stunning cards and dies like this. lol
    This card just shouts out at me and now this die is on the top of my list followed by the background and then the corners and borders.
    however as this is only day one thing could change.
    I would love to know what die you used behind this one but i have a feeling all will
    be revealed eventually ( i hope ).

    Don't suppose I'll ever be going to Mauritius in real life travel ?
    but I can put it on the wish list.
    Looking nn the bright side this die can be the next best thing and much more affordavble and will last a lifetime! instead of a few weeks like a holiday,
    that said, if cared for and placed in a good, loving crafty home!
    think I've found a favourite already lol x

    Beautiful card! Love the background die, the main die reminds me of the gently swells of the ocean. The peace that comes from the ocean sounds brings me to a happy place! So excited to see the new collection. Still don't have all I wanted from the last release!

    Very dramatic card. I haven't looked at the dies in this launch ahead of time so it came as a lovely surprise that it is the Indian Ocean collection. My dear daughter-in-law's father was born in Mauritius so this die set is a definite 'must have'.
