Festive Greeting Card

Hi bloggers!  The Poinsettia and Holly Gemini die makes a beautiful card in no time at all!  Great for those batch cards, but still with a real wow factor to it!

The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  1. Lovely card, it's gorgeous. I love all of this one.
Well just finished two full days of intensive training at work, I only work 6 hours per day so they already owe me over a day now. Have to admit I struggled with it but so did the rest if the team and they are years younger do it can't be an age thing.
Elaine, if anyone deserves to sit under a sunshade sipping homemade lemonade, it is your Andrew, all joy to him, hope he does it again today .
Tina how are things with the Carers, has it been sorted out. Hugs to you and Mick.
Tracey, what a fab idea to join a crafting class, go for it, it will do you the world of good. I wish we had one close to me.
Wheelybad, Yvonne, Lorraine, and all who are not well, a nice comforting blanket of caring is wrapped around you.
Thinking of missing friends, Norah, hope you are okay, Cheryl too.

  5. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, IK remember seeing this video when it went onto You tube and loved it then, it really is a beautiful die and card, I love it.

Pam you take some time out for 'me time' it is always stressful when doing training, I used to train people on how to use software on the computer, )'word, excel, powerpoint, and bespoke applications') so I understand where you were coming from.

Elaine how lovely for Andrew sitting with the homemade lemonade, yummy, make the most of this weather because I think it is going to be changing next week.

Tracey, do you have any friends near you who are interested in craft, if so why not invite them to your home to craft with you, or even do what I did.......... when our local craft shop closed their second warehouse, which is where we used to hold our weekly craft group, I looked around and found a local church who let out a largish room to us, it holds about 20 comfortably, we have to get the tables and chairs out each time but I have a wonderful group of ladies who all help, it is an idea if you could do something like this, even if you only held it once a month at first to try it.

Sending lots of hugs to Tina (hope you sorted the carers out), Wheelybad, Yvonne, Lorraine and all who need them.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  7. WOW Sue now that's what you call an outstanding festive card, one that will out shine any shop bought expensive manufactured greeting card.
I only have the gift card stocking die from this year's collection but it's time to add to the list ready for the annual marathon for market. I'm so way behind now with my whole collection this year with no hope at all at ever catching up ! Oh well never been a millionaire and never will be so may as well come to terms that I will never own every single die you release, such is life.
Andy off to look after our little Lottie today so mummy & daddy can have a nice relaxing spa day together before mummy has to return to work. Unfortunately Lottie is so full of cold and without my immune system it could turn into more than a cold should I get it, so he's really looking forward to his day with his princess.
Will send you my usual hugs Sue, enjoy your day xx

WOWEE a very beautiful Christmas card i love it all , but what are you doing to me mate ? i need more dies now and really need to win the lottery with my die list forever growing.

Pam the weekend will soon be here so you can rest hopefully.

Tracey i do a little craft Group for two hours there are only 4/5 of us but we have a good laugh and a natter 3 of us are card makers the other two bring in knitting or crochet and Adult colouring books as well , it gives me something to look forward to i love it .

Thinking of Tina, Wheelybad and Lorraine.

I had to go to the DR on Monday the back of my leg above the Ankle was so painful to the touch, red and hot , the Doctor gave me some cream and told me to sit with the leg propped up she wants to see me again on Fri 26th. When i stand the pain is really awful and it seems to be spreading up to just under the knee , i have never had pain like it , it seems to spring out in all directions if you know what i mean ?
Oh well i will keep resting and hope the cream works its magic and SOON.

  126. Hi Sue. WOW, WOW, WOW !!! I love this card and video. Sorry I have not been around for a bit but I got to the point where I was struggling to keep up with everyday life again !!! I think today's card is absolutely beautiful and I am hoping to buy the dies I need especially to make this card as it is one of my most favourite of all your Christmas cards to date Sue. I really love your Holly, Poinsettia Gemini Die. I think it gorgeous Sue and a "must have" Christmas die for me !!! I love the colours, love the layout of the card, love the dies, just love it all !!!
I also have to say that I really love yesterday's card to Sue. I had not seen this particular stamp that matches the Bern die before, I think it is beautiful. I may have to try and get this stamp to, to match my Bern die. It is very elegant. I love the rest of the card to. Thank you for sharing your stunning cards Sue. Sending lots of love and hugs to you Sue from Tres x x x
