Festive Collection Day Four 6am

Hello there my crafty friends!  Welcome to day four of the Festive Collection blog launch!  I do hope that you are enjoying it and seeing a few designs that catch your eye! LOL  Up for grabs this post are the Poinsettia Border, Corner Tag die set and the Poinsettia Filigree Frame die set.  The sample shown showcases a bit of both sets for you, with the border die being used and the outer section of the Poinsettia Filigree frame (can you also spot that Holly Octagonal Frame sneeking in there?).  The frame has been designed so it has the ability to be used for your non Christmas cards as well so there is greater versatility in it.  You can see however, just how pretty it looks when it is used with your Christmas designs.  I think you will find both sets are invaluable to your crafty Christmas arsenal!  Leave a comment here if you would like a chance at winning either of these sets.  The next post will be available for viewing at 12 noon today!  All for now, Sue x

I always love your Corner, Border Tag, dies, I think they are so versatile. The Poinsettia Filigree frame is so pretty. I kept scrolling back over you recent samples to work out what the Holly Octagonal Frame was, I should have been patient and just read your text, lol. Thanks for sharing.

I bought the snowflake border, corner and tag set last year and it would be rude not to buy her younger sibling the poinsettia selection:-)
There's so much to love and appreciate about these sets, particularly given the beauty of your card Sue, that I feel that resistance will be futile:-)

  194. Good afternoon Sue and the Wilsonettes,
well i've just about caught up from yesterday i think, these two dies along with a few others Sue are on the top of my need list as i just love the shape and size of them but also they have my winter time favourite on them which jumps them up to the top of my need(and give it a couple of weeks) have them list. The border set makes me think of your striplet collection because with you making a outside cutting die as well as the inner detail that leaves it in the card, this border is going to be a great one to go to especially for us that loves your striplets and gemini die sets. Oh is it nearly pay day?
Well folks i was at my step daughters wedding yesterday up at Fingask Castle in Rait, Perthshire and i think from all the smiley faces that everyone had a great day even if we did get the odd shower or two now and again. My grandson proved to be a babe magnet for girls old and very young and was carried by numerous females that i don't know, but some were Leahannes (my stepdaughter) cousins, but the others lord alone knows but he put on his very best smiles and of course kisses for the girls(he likes giving kisses) but Kirsten and Ryan had to take him home early as after three outfit changes we had run out of clothes for him (he just wasn't well poor wee lamb). I never thought that all the rubbish i had made her do over the years had ever been to her likening but it kept her and Kirsten out of mischief. Yesterday i was very proud of her as she had made all the wedding invites, menus, reply cards etc. Her husband is a gamekeeper and i used to have her out up the woods when she was younger colleting pine cones, acorns, various leaves and feathers, etc, well she had made all the table numbers up using the feathers from the grouse and pheasants on the estate that he works on. She made up tweed bags for the bridesmaids, had bought hip flasks and got them inscribed with their date of marraige and who it was from with the person's name inscribed on the top and had wrapped a sleeve around them from the tweed tartan that her husbands kilt was made from. They had also made they're own sloe gin for all the adult guests and bottled it and labled it. She made wee posy holders full of the rose petals that she had dried off to use as confetti. Yes that lot made me so very proud that in a small way i had helped her have the wedding of her dreams and everyone was so amazed at just how talented she was. It was a very long day though and i had to drive us home late, on roads i didn't know as the waiting until the back of 8:00 pm didn't materialise, neither did the 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, try 11:30 so as i say a long day that i hadn't taken my tablets with me as we were coming back just that wee bit later than i normally take them, not nearly 6 hours later. Todays a very quiet day for me just to get over yesterday so i hope that everything is well with everyone. With hugs being sent to Tracy and Dad, Tina and Mick and welcome to your new baby grandchild flower and another coming long as well, it must have brought i hope a big smile to Micks face. Elaine and her poor Andrew, i'm sorry flower that Andrew has been whipped back in but i hope that they find what's the problem so that he can get on the road to recovery once more. Pat flower, i hope that Sarah finally gets her op that she has been so long waiting for and no cancellations once more, there's only so much disappointment that you can take waiting upon these things and i think that she has had her share and more, so hugs to her. Wheely, i hope that you can get a break from those horrible migraines as they really knock the feet from you and if like me, you lose so many days because of them. Crafty hugs to all that need, could do with or just want one, they are yours blog friends,
    love and crafty hugs
