Sparkly Background Birthday Card

Hi crafters!  The New Zealand Background has some beautiful floral cut outs that you can use your leftover small bits of sticky adhesive sheets on to add glitter!  It looks like you have used a whole sheet, but it is a great way to use up small pieces.  Have a look at the video to see how.

The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

What can I say ? Absolutely beautiful. It certainly would be the highlight of anyone's birthday to receive a card as gorgeous as this. The dies are made for each other.
I've seen so many truely amazing cards on the SWCE fb group page and I just know you would love each and everyone, they are amazing, and it's all down to you knowing what is needed to help make these beautiful works of art. If I had just a tiny bit of these ladies talent I would join you in a happy dance lol.

Wow love the flower and sparkle I need to add more sparkle to my cards, background die is stunning
We had a fantastic day with Mick he was wide awake when I got there at 12 he had his lunch and had some physio in the morning and had some more in the afternoon got him standing again after 2 weeks of being in bed only problem his BP dropped and he passed out but once he came round wanted to go again and he did, his BP dropped but he didn't pass out but was ready to stop and try again today, even though his hands where 'kicking off' he was still awake at 8 when I left so I had the biggest smile on my face and still have, hoping for the same again when I go at 12, thank you to each and everyone for you kind words and wishes I do try and read all comments when my phone plays nice.
    Happy crafting

  108. Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

I've been very organised today and watched the video before I comment...it makes sense after all :-)...and I am glad I did because I can now say with some authority that this is one of your most stunning creations of late. The video was packed full of useful tips and techniques, real value for money...if we paid, and I would!....grateful for the idea about using those little off cuts of sled adhesive sheets, I never throw them away no matter how small they are. Love the pierced detailing of the New Zealand background highlighted beautifully in the soft wisteria colour, and the sweetheart flowers are just a gorgeous finishing touch. Thanks for the continuing inspirationxxx
Had a hectic day yesterday hence my absence, had my new tv delivered and found the setup a real challenge....why is it that you spend a lot of money on a product only for the essential wires not to be included?.....had to dash out to the local Mappin for cables at a cost of £30 just so the sound bar would communicate with the tv!Nightmare! Anyway, it now looks and sounds great which is the main thing:-) it's going to seriously interfere with my crafting time though so I will have to be very disciplined with myself.
Nana Tina, how encouraging that Mick was so perky yesterday, it really gives you hope for his future progress and I could feel the love and happiness from you. Fingers crossed he's had another good dayxxx
Theresa, I have sickened myself with trifle now after my fourth helping but I'm with you, I prefer tinned mandarins and I would highly recommend the ones from M&S cos they are so big and juicy.
Maria, Brodie is having the time of his life now that he is allowed out on his own, he spends the best part of ten hours popping in and out and it's lovely to see him so happy. The only drawback being that I don't get to spend as much quality time with him, he'd rather go out and forage and frolick:-( He's lost all but a passing interest in Cardmaking now, only pausing to add the occasional mucky paw mark to my partially completed cards. He does appear to have lost quite a bit of weight though so the vet will be pleased:-)
June, hope you had good news at the clinic, your getting there slowly but surely:-)
Yvonne, so glad that you're feeling brighter, despite your pesky boys misbehaving:-( I would just leave them to it, they sound stubborn and getting involved would be a thankless task, best not to take sides.....though I don't condone violence of any sort, the introduction of a taser would possibly achieve a more instant result, I like the way your mind works:-) though I am slightly concerned about what other weaponry you have in your possession and your willingness to use it, maybe I will stay in a hotel when I visit........
Frances, what's happening with your newest houseguest? Have you decided on a name yet?
Lorraine, what craft show are you going to in September? Is it Ally Pally?
Huge hugs to Beth, Jan, Rebecca, Tracy, pat, Pam, P, Wheely bad and all in need of a cuddlexxx

I love any of your cards that have flowers and bows, though the lacy leaves seemed to have passed me by. So yet another die added to my ever expanded list. Had an interesting afternoon trying to make tiger ears for my 5 year old granddaughter they are having a tiger tea party at school tomorrow and the ears that were ordered haven't arrived. Now I just have to master tiger face paints should be fun.
