Hi bloggers! Next up on the agenda is the Suisse Collection. Starting with the background and the Border, Corner, tag die set, this collection has a lovely pierced motif running through it. The background has been done in sections to allow more versatility and easier cutting. I have made the border six inches in length this time as many people asked me for it to be shorter to use on smaller cards. The set comes with a matching corner and three piece tag die. Thank goodness for the 'sales pitch' before you start your demo or I'd have to either pause you (which would be so rude and totally wrong) or sit on hot coals for an hour before opening the door to Particraft !!

T - Ally Pally was really good. Lots of great things there though I kept going back to Sue's booth as I kept learning more and more. Lovely romantic feel to these with the heart shapes and it will make them particularly useful for engagement, wedding or anniversary cards. Although they will also work for any card that's sent with loving wishes.

And the slighter shorter border is absolutely perfect for those smaller cards, must admit my cards have been growing in size and I now love making bigger cards but it is nice to have the option of smaller ones too.

The anticipation of seeing what you are going to do with the new Shadow Box concept is almost too much to cope with.
I am so pleased that Hochanda are now back on line. Technical issues that took much longer to deal with than they had expected. I am hoping to catch up on the 9am show and part of the 12 o clock show that I missed then settle down to see you in action live.
I always feel so inspired after watching you and during a launch especially but my body refuses to keep up with everything that races through my brain cell at 100mph.
The sun is shining and it is a beautiful sight to behold as I look out of the window. Our magnolia tree is in bloom and the magnificent pink blossom is such a contrast of colour against the blue sky how could one fail to smile.
Thank you so much Sue for your time thoughtfulness and dedication which is such a wonderful part of making us all smile.

ReplyDeleteOh my golly gosh! I don't know which has rendered my speechless, the card or the dies but either way it's a pleasant respite for my loved ones:-)
I know it's early days but the Swiss collection may be my favourite, particularly the background which is stunningly intricate....your card displays this most beautifully, I love the colour palette, very chic.
Brownie points to you my dear for putting two cutting edges with the border, how versatile this will make it, thanks sweetie.
Decided to have a quiet day chillin with you Sue....if Yvonne can spare you for five minutes that is:-)...... watching you on Hochanda and keeping abreast of the blog, utter bliss.
Darcey had another restless night and spent the vast majority of it outside much to my anxiety.....I'm not sure whether it was her UTI rearing it's ugly head again or the fact that she is being romanced by a rather handsome ginger tomcat.......he spent hours just sitting staring at her and trying to follow her, that's the price of being beautiful and a princess to boot:-) My bags now have bags though!
P, so so sorry to hear about Sailor, he was so young in today's terms and it doesn't matter how many other animals you have a loss is still heartbreaking. All my love honeyxxx
Wheely bad, hope you manage to watch some of Sues shows today through the pain.....you may have a migraine but bear in mind how hip you must look in your cool shades:-)

I have to admit I was a little skeptical about the background die, with all the hearts. Wondering how I would use it. But seeing it here and cut out...it is beautiful!!! Thank you for your cards. ReplyDeleteI have all your dies stored on magnetic sheets in a large Really useful Box which I lifted out my cupboard to check on what to order from your last collection. I nearly gave myself a hernia as it is so heavy and need to think about reorganising all your dies. You are definitely a bad influence Sue Wilson!!!!

ReplyDeleteIf I ever think to myself that your intricate, versatile & delicately stunning die collections or your dazzling & wondrous cards couldn’t get any better then I sure need a colossal knock on the head or more to bring me to my senses, (don’t all rush at once my friends I would like to be conscious to drool over tomorrows launch* Lol).
The Suisse background & Border Corner & Tag die had just better jump out of the hat for me when I next place a draw from it, oh the excitement & anticipation of what it will throw out for me should be well worth waiting for, if it chooses the new collection first that is.
Your card speaks to me of majestic royal & imperial magnificence & the delightful poppies have yet again made a charming appearance.
