Hi Sue. WOW !!! I love this card !!! Great colours you have used to. I love the huge great letters along side the little ones to spell out different greeting !!! The more sets you have, the more different sentiments you can make. I bought the "Happy" and the "Smile" at Alley Palley and I am now definately going to buy both the "Hugs" and the " Love" die sets. I think they are all fantastic and there are so many possibilities with them. I personally love to do colouring in to (although I am not really very good at it !!!! ) but my Mum has gone mad on Zentangle at the moment and is addicted to it !!! I am going to get her to do some Zentangle designs that I can then colour in myself and then put my "Happy", "Smile", "Hugs" or "Love" appertures over the top !!! I think they will make some very unusual cards !!! Thank you Sue for some fantastic inspiration. Lots of love to you from Tres x x x

ReplyDeleteHUGS!!!!!!!! Brilliant! What IS better than the hugs we give and receive daily? The real and the virtual :-) I Flippin' love this die in a big way (yes, I did censor myself there, tee hee) and speaking of love, I love love too! Both brilliant. I adore the smile one from the last release. These are a great range, home decor, scrapping and making masks with the positives and negatives could be fun too. I love ombre and rainbow cards so these work well for that (and again, no need to fire up the plotter and computer).
Would love one that says 'cake'!!! (Birthday cake, cake with friends, tea and cake, Christmas cake, bake more cake, eat more cake). Could just have (I) 'love cake'. More a mission statement than a card greeting lol... I May be a little obsessed, especially as Mr W brought us "coffee and cake" earlier (carrot cake, from a starry buck- and bl***y nice it was too!)

ReplyDeleteI must admit I wasn't too sure if I liked these giant word dies at first but having seen what you can do with them and the matching stamps they are definitely growing on me - hope there will be stamps to die for to match these too...
