Adore the colours you've used and dies to make the background. I admit to being addicted to your flower dies that can be moulded formed and shaped to make beautiful bouquets to help enhance our projects, so I'm embarrassed to admit the pansy die isn't one of my favourites, but one I'm not keen on out of how many ? can't be bad right ?
So apart from the additional pansy, I love today's gift.

  60. Good morning Sue and the Wilsonettes,
I really love how you have cut the sides of the top layer into the card along with the striplet insert that you have used in the middle. It makes the top layer of card look like that it came lazer cut, a beautiful effect. The iris? coloured card is just perfect for the pansy and background making a really beautiful card that anyone would be over the moon to receive.Thank you Sue for todays piece of inspiration, now i wonder what dies i have that could do this effect? Have a good day flower and sending hugs your way just because.
Well we have a very cold, frosty day here at the Ochils but oh how pretty are my hills today. Yesterday i got new colouring pens and i am so excited to use them and sort them out into a rainbow of colours. I have loved colouring in since i was a child and these new adult colouring in books are just wonderful but i do wish they did more "real" pictures to colour in rather than zentangling ones that have all the different sections making up the object or scene. Anyway i have got myself a stock of colouring in pads so that when it goes out of fashion again i can still enjoy it. Just for a change it is the UK that have caused the rush on them and other countries are following like USA who are just loving colouring in having discovered that it isn't just children that like to sit still and colour.
Ok i am away now to get sort out so that i can have some fun time today so i will send hugs to Tracey and all that need or could just do with a hugs and i hope that you all are having as lovely weather as we are up here,
    love and crafty hugs

  88. Hi, Sue,
I adore pansies, their little smiling faces are always so cheerful and guaranteed to brighten up any day. Why do I not have the pansy dies yet I ask myself!!!
Can't wait to go over and have a look at the video.
Right now I'm sitting looking at a pot of about 5 amaryllis bulbs. My sister gave it to me before she moved house in November. She kept another one with about the same number of bulbs. They have sentimental value to her as her mum-in-law gave her a single bulb back in the early 1990s and all these bulbs grew from that one bulb. I swear that it's growing so fast I saw the leaves move last night and I can't wait for the flowers to open, one stalk is getting on for 18 inches tall so I hope the flowers are big lol.
Sending love and hugs to anyone who feels the need of them today.
    Stay safe, everyone.

I absolutely adore the blushing pansies and roses and think tat they give the most fabulous touch to cards - they are on my list. This is a beautiful card and the colour is right up my street. And the sentiment - well right back at you. Big hugs and love winging it's way to you x
So the sun is shining and the sky is blue and I am starting to feel like I am a human being after all. Still not brilliant but little steps.
Thrilled to say that George passed his driving test yesterday. So pleased for him as he was desperately disappointed when his test was cancelled early February. He passed with flying colours - sailing through with no faults. Apparently this is rare and needless to say he is taking great pleasure in mentioning whenever possible how brilliant he is x
I have had a quick look back at comments but by no means am I up to date with everything.
    TRACY - yay - last treatment - you are a superstar x
WHEELY BAD - hey girl - the winner of a Sue masterpiece - just what the doctor ordered x
LAINE - big hugs to you lovely. Hope you are managing to move forward - take it slowly x
Thank you everyone for all your good wishes and good thoughts - sending tem all back to you x
Lastly I just want to say that I am a little disturbed that Sue has decided to inflict on us an extension of her never ending talent in the form of, in my opinion, the nicest papers I have seen for a long time. Due to the amount of patterned paper I have in my overflowing stash, I never ever need to buy any more ever again but it goes without saying that this new addition to Sue's arsenal is a must have. Sue - lead me not into temptation - I am perfectly capable of finding my way there without your help x
Will anyone else be watching Hochanda later - another defector in the form of Craters Companion joining the ever increasing crafty family x
Signing off for today -hope everyone is enjoying a little sunshine like me.

  109. Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

What a fantastic video Sue, it is so helpful to see you in action demonstrating, I'm not so good with written instructions since my head injury so I really appreciate being able to watch you weave your magic:-)
Another beautiful card that I even have the main elements for:-) Love this striplet die, I will be using it tomorrow to make my Mothers Day card...I know, I'm embarrassingly late making it!.....and the addition of the Gemini die border...apologies, can't recall which one it was, did it begin with a P?......is a lovely touch. The iris colour really makes the gorgeous detailing stand out. The star of the show is the pansy though, it is so delicate and pretty...I must confess that it never appealed to me either, I much prefer a 3 D flower, but it works beautifully on this card and I love the colouring, I really makes the flower pop and brings it to life. Thanks for more fabulous inspiration, you are a legend!
Well, abandoned all plans of Cardmaking today, had such a long tiring day yesterday that I managed to sleep in and had to rush to get ready for Gills visit- realistically two hours wouldn't have been enough anyway, to do one of Sues designs justice. Sue makes it look so quick and easy, I wonder how long it takes her from start to finish to complete a card? No way will it be as long as me that's for sure:-)
So, I guess that the ironing can wait another day...unless my Mum comes to the rescue....I have an idea in mind using the wild roses EF so that's the hard part sorted. I had convinced myself that I didn't have this EF, that it was the bed of roses one in my collection so I spent half an hour searching my craftroom for it only to realise that I never owned it in the first place!...is this a sign that a) I don't use my craft stuff often enough or b) I have so much stash that I can't keep track of it all? Either way, it's a sad indication that I should spend more time crafting and less time buying....like the latter is EVER going to happen!:-)
I'm very excited about Crafters Companion bringing the Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens to Hochanda tomorrow, I have the entire range of pens and pencils and would love to add them to my collection but I wonder if there will be a good deal on them.....like Norah, I love colouring and have bought a couple of adult colouring books but I find the quality of the paper isn't as good as proper Neenah card, it's very porous and bleeds through to the other side. So, I think that I should invest in a few new stamps, Sheena Douglass has a good range so it will be great to see her products on Hochanda too.
Yvonne my old mucker, huge congrats to George on passing his test my only fear is are the good people of Croydon fully prepared for this situation or should the traffic police be on standby with speed guns and breathalysers?:-) Glad to see you are feeling a little brighter, the world is a duller place without you my dear. I once had flu when I was a very fit 18yr old and it floored me for a fortnight! You just have to take it day by day and enjoy your liberal doses of Jeremy Kyle and Loose Women....have you seen Jeremy's new show Emergency Room? If you ever fancy watching a middle aged woman having an internal on live tv then this is the show for you!:-)xxx
Lorraine, sorry to hear that you've been struggling, hope your symptoms ease soonxxxx
Wheely, good luck with your new doctor, it's about time that something more was done to relieve your migraines. Hugs to you and Billyxxx
Alison, hugs to you and Scampxxxx
Tracy, hope you're not suffering from your last chemo session, what a momentous occasion! Enjoy your birthday, you deserve it....hopefully hubby will get you a few of Sues new dies to add to your collectionxxxx
Big hugs to Beth, Rebecca, deb c, Pam, P, Linda , Saba, Maria, Theresa, Frances and everyone who was kind enough to offer support to me latelyxxxx

For some reason that I can't explain my comment from yesterday appears to have disappeared ( if that makes sense!). So I'll attempt to remember some of what I wrote. Tracy so pleased you've one finished with the chemo and I hope the side effects aren't too bad for you. I'm sure you'll get through the radiotherapy as well. I know you've said they are missing you at work, but don't rush back too early - you don't want to set yourself back xxxx
Laine, I know you've now had your Dads funeral and that although it's a really sad time, you know that he is at peace. Take care - Scamp sends you a big cuddle xxx
Wheely hope you've had no more migraines xxx
Love and hugs to everyone, Alison xxxx

  120. Hi Sue, a really pretty card and I love the way you created the background. Pansies are one of my favourite flowers and yes, their faces do smile, earning them their alternative name of Heartsease which I think suits them perfectly.

Busy day today and I am feeling sleepy so I think an early night is called for. Wishing everyone a peaceful night.
