Rose Frame

Hi crafters!  Today's video shows you how to use portions of the Cathedral background to cut and shadow an aperture and the Blushing Rose die just accents it perfectly too.

The finished dimensions are 7" x  9" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  78. Morning Sue and the Wilsonettes,
This is my kind of amount of black Sue, just touches which highlights the sections in the roses and the aperture that they sit in with the hint coming through at the back jsut to tie it all together. This is a lovely card Sue and the roses bring out that embossing folder just nicely. Now i maybe don't have the dies but i have the embossing folder, so it's a start and i have other oval dies that i can use and just make up your real roses instead of flat ones and bang i have something similar. The verse fits nicely in the middle of the oval apertures of the card flower making it a really lovely card that you could send to male or female as the flowers are not too girlie in design or colour. Sending hugs your way flower along with my prayers that you are as ok as you can be.
Well folks it's a bit dreary here at the Ochils this morning with everything jsut sort of merging into each other, even my hills don't have any sort of definition today which is not usual so i hope that it cheers up a bit today. I am trying to finish an engagment card for Campbells nephew who got engaged to the lass he has a wee boy to. Although i don't give engagment presents any more i do like to give them a card but give them something decent when they marry. I stopped giving engagment gifts as it always seem to go pear shaped when i did so decided that it maybe wasn't a good idea. Anyway folks, i will leave you all with hugs to all Wilsonettes that could real do with them and even if you don't but just could do with one,
    love and crafty hugs

  99. Hi Sue
I absolutely love the blushing rose die. This card is beautiful. I am really loving the dark splash of colour. I will watch the video when I am feeling a little more with it.
Visited Marjorie last night. I have got to say it is pitiful to see her. It is the first time I have ever seen her looking frail. As I mentioned the other day she has always been unbelievable and not your average 94 year old. To see her now is so sad. I really do not know what will happen in the future but if I am completely honest at the moment it is really not looking too hopeful.
Really feeling a bit low - more bad news - a friend phoned and her husband has had a heart attack and it is highly probable that he has suffered brain damage if he pulls through at all.
Sorry to be doom and gloom x
LAINE - I hope you are having a lovely time at Strictly. I am hoping you were not arrested for causing a public disturbance in your quest for a fumble with the rather dreamlike Gleb!! I am so on your wavelength as far as the 2.30 performance is concerned. As far as the length of time it takes to prepare for such outings is concerned - one can't rush perfection darling x

Yvonne G, what a rotten week. I hope everything turns out ok for your friends husband. Hugs xxx

Spent second half of the week getting over the first half. I had dinner with with the other half of my family tonight to belatedly celebrate my birthday. It was very nice but found out my Nanna is in hospital. I had this weird feeling about her all week but I'd promised to text her tomorrow anyway so as I knew she had a bad chest I thought I'd let her rest, plus I didn't want to worry her with my goings on. Going to text her first thing.

Off to bed now, shattered. I will try and be back soon. Sending every one of you a big hug and there's more here if you need them. Hope you all have a lovely Sunday.
