Clean & Simple

Hi bloggers!  I have added a new category to my die line called "Clean And Simple".  The first entry is my new zigzag border.  I have decide to show it here in just that way, a simply styled card.  You did, however, see it earlier in the week on the Frames and Tags post shown with the Maggie die.  Don't let this one fol you, it can be used in so many ways that it will constantly look like a different die every time you see it, but it also has so many amazing ways in which it can be used so it is very versatile.  I hope to add many more dies to this category as they make very quick, but beautiful cards!  You know the drill, leave a comment, let me know what you think of the newest addition to my die category.  Is there anything you would like to see added?  I would love to hear!  That's it for today, but we have one final day which kicks off at 6am tomorrow morning.  All for now, Sue x

  9. Well Sue - this one is totally different! You wouldn't normally be associated with 'a simple card' - but why not?! It is a very striking card, and as you say both simple and quick - we all need that from time to time. Can't think of any ideas for you at this moment in time - but I shall give it some thought, and let you know if I come up with an idea! Gilly R of Cornwall xxx

  118. Good evening again lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

This is the one that I have been waiting for with bated breath all week- it looks rather unassuming in its packaging but nothing could be further from the truth. When I saw it with the Maggie die....another favourite thus far...I was smitten, it really intrigued me as to the possibilities it held in your capable hands. CAS isn't something I generally do but there seems to be so much more to this die and I can't wait to see what plans you have for it's use- I will be buying this at my earliest possible convenience even if it means beans on toast without the beans for the foreseeable future:-) I am really excited by this die and if the rest of this category matches it's brilliance then I may even be a convert to CAS cards!...well, maybe not, but that won't stop me using them in a more flamboyant way with a few stick pins, flowers and glitter thrown on:-)
Feeling a lot less frazzled today, actually had some breathing space to enjoy each post which was great, I like to devote myself to the blog during a launch, it's like a royal wedding in my house, out comes the bunting, I get dressed up and make a buffet to sustain me through the proceedings, have a cheeky glass of fizz and just fall short of having a street party in Sues honour:-) It's a major event and I like to mark it in a suitable fashion!.....well, that's how I celebrate it in my head, in real life I try to fit in the extra posts around housework, appointments, shopping and mealtimes, some days more successfully than others.
I'm hoping all our regulars are happy and healthy at the moment and enjoying the proceedings as much as I am. Special mention to my sick buddie Yvonne, hope you feel better soonxxx, Tracy, Beth, Linda, Lorraine, Maria, Theresa, Wheely Bad, melody, Molly and Saba.
Have a lovely evening everyone, sleep well despite the excitement about tomorrow's postxxxx

    Love and crafty hugs,

  119. I love the zig zag...very elegant, yet modern. Another great die for those difficult "guy" cards. Love this card...perfect in every way!!! I did notice it in an earlier post. Any plans to design any alphaneumeric die sets? There are a lot out there in the market, but many are too small (less than 1" in height) or the fonts are too thin to handle easily and/or add adhesives to to stack them for added thickness. I'm looking for an alphabet die set that's versatile enough to use on different design styled or themed cards....make sense? I did recently find a set of numbers that are close to that, but still looking for an alphabet set....would be nice to have the alpha and neumeric coordinate in style and size. Great post again....thanks for all you do for us. Jan D., Florida, USA

    Oh yes, love it!

I love it Sue, a design look I personally love so it's a big yes from me. I think it's a great concept and if I think of anything to add I'll let you know!

What a day of wonderful goodies, roll on tomorrow's dies.

Tracy, my mojo effed off a long time ago. If yours is hiding with mine I'll rocket launch it some 400 miles up to you, promise! Hugs xxx

Lynda I caught the last quarter hour last night and the 2nd half of two shows this afternoon. Very enjoyable, hugs and Billy sends cuddles back to you xxx

Billy asleep with his head resting on my legs, busy day for us both. First, hairdresser came to give me a much needed cut then my PA arrived, she'd brought me a cake and card to have tomorrow and a treat for Billy. Mr Migraine then paid a visit but I got the pill down early and the dark glasses on and didnt suffer much at all, really think I'm learning to time this better each time. Pretty tiring day all told so now laying under a dog and a blanket wondering how much longer I'll be awake!

Hugs to everyone, I got plenty extra if you need another one. Wishing happiness to all

  167. Hi Sue,

I have been out all evening so before I get into bed I must leave a comment.
That way you have displayed this die it really makes a statement, more often than not we need to see what a die can do, to fully appreciate it. And your card is proof of that. Love it!

Must go to bed now very tired, sweet dreams everyone, love Brenda XXX

  184. Hi Sue,

I love the simplicity of this die. While I enjoy the challenge of a fancy die sometimes a "less is more" approach has much more impact for a heartfelt message.
Any chance of a range of Art Deco designs in the future?
