It's stopping me crafting, which is a downer, especially with only 4 weeks to go until Christmas...I may end up having to send virtual cards via Facebook this year lol. Bejay xx

Hi Sue, Happy Thanksgiving to you, your family and all of our crafty friends in the USA. Today's card is gorgeous. I love the aqua colour and the Heraldic Square die is beautiful.
Healing thoughts for those who have had surgery today and for others that are recuperating.
Have just watched your video another great card. Love the colour combination but am sure it would look good in many different colours. The die you used to make the frame is so versatile.
Hi Sue Wow, such a beautiful stunning card & love the turquoise & white colour which looks so pretty & feminine. Really loving the Heraldic Square die as it's so versatile as you have shown us to make numerous card designs. Gorgeous card & the flower & leaves add the perfect finishing touch...
Happy Thanksgiving to you Sue and your family, not to mention all of our American friends on the blog, hope you are all having a fabulous day with your loved ones- we should all take some time out to acknowledge and appreciate what is good in our lives:-) Just for a change, I have watched the demo before I comment so I feel that I can make a fully informed appraisal-not that I can think of anything enlightening to say, just that it is to your usual exceptional standard. Not many people can take one die and create such a stunningly intricate design, the Heraldic Square is a beauty and I would love to call it mine...sadly though, I will just have to lust from afar until I get an injection of cash to call my own:-( Had a happy delivery today, the Bose Music System that I have been promising my Mum since her birthday, finally arrived today after 13 long days of waiting- there was a mix up with the delivery, they claimed to have came last Wednesday but we were in all day and no card was put through the door. It was then meant to be delivered yesterday and we waited until 5 o'clock and still no sign- we called the delivery company and they said we would have it within two hours, only for the driver to then be involved in an accident and it had to be postponed yet again...by this stage my Mum was thinking that she wasn't meant to have this machine. But it did indeed arrive this morning and I set it up for her and she was ecstatic- now I can listen to cheesy Christmas tunes whilst crafting with Gill, they really do get you in the mood, The Pogues are my favourite....and George with Wham! I may have no money left for dies but Brodie is pleased with the big cardboard box that it arrived in, it'll be a few days before I can prize it off him and make it to the front door without his objections:-) June, hope your operation went well, what a relief it will be to be able to see properly again, I hope your recovery is swift...go on, buy a few dies to celebrate! Linda, you sound understandably miserable dear, I've had endoscopes before- I once had a colonoscopy at the same time which was interesting-and they aren't the most pleasant of procedures:-( I do hope that you get a favourable result though, you have more than enough to contend with, sending hugsxxxx Lorraine F, hope you enjoyed your Mums visit and that your voice withstood the extra demands on it. Visitors can be tiring but a pleasant distraction when we are feeling down or out of sorts, you seem to have a lot to contend with so I hope that you don't suffer as a result of over exertion. Take carexx Bejay, flu jabs can often bring on some unpleasant side effects, hope you feel better soon and can get back to some crafting in time for Christmasxxx Yvonne, hope you're feeling okay today honey after yesterday's baby sitting duties. I'm sure your lovely lads will treat their Mum splendidly though, you have them well tutored on that score:-) Hope to have you back to your usual chipper, sarcastic, bordering on mildly offensive self as soon as possible, after all, what's a Thelma without her Louise? Special hugsxxxx Sending squishy cuddles to Beth, Wheely Bad, Rebecca, Jan, Theresa, Maria, Saba, melody and Molly Have a fab evening girls
Hi Sue, What an ingenious way to use the Heraldic Square as a background. I love it. I am lucky enough to have these dies, so guess what I will be doing tomorrow. Hope you are having a very happy Thanksgiving Day.
Lorraine, lucky mum, I have been begging my OH for years for a Bose system to no avail. What do I do to convince him? Linda hope all well went well with the endoscopy. June good luck with the eye surgery. Melody, thinking of you.
Evening Sue and everyone. Love the card today Sue, love the Heraldic die and everything about this card is lovely. Happy Thanksgiving to you and all our American Wilsonette's. Hope you all have a nice weekend.
June- glad your eye op went well and you soon will see all right x Tracy- hope you had another good day x Yvonne- wish you better, take care x Lorraine F- hope it was nice seeing you mum, now have a rest and take care x Linda N- I know how tough it is to have Fibromyalgia so when something else happening it can then be to much. Not nice to have an endoscopy done, had one done a few month ago. Hope you can do some crafting tomorrow and start feeling more like you x Marg, -congratulations to your daughter x Lorraine E- glad your mum got her present in the end, these delivery people can run you around at times. Did you know that smoothies now come in smaller sizes in packages of four. Keep them away from Brodie though if you get any, even easier to hide Lol. Hope your infection is getting better, take care x To all Wilsonette's and my good friends, warm hugs

ReplyDeleteYvonne G, I hope the migraines leave you alone and that MIL behaved herself.
Tracy, I hope you enjoyed your walk.
Laine, so glad your wounds are starting to behave, sorry if you now have to do the dishes though :(
June, I hope the eye surgery goes well. I reckon you deserve some new dies for going through that ordeal.
Linda N, so sorry you have to go through an endoscopy. I hope you are feeling much better very soon. Yes I too have fibromyalgia so know you never feel great but we certainly could do without any extra illnesses. Enjoy your new dies when you can.
Teresa, have a wonderful holiday.
My Mum is coming for a visit today as I couldn't bear not seeing her any longer. My voice came back for a while last night but is not playing ball this morning. My ribs are still very painful but hoping this is the start of getting better.

Hi Sue,
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and all our friends across the pond.
What a beautiful card today, Sue. I love the colours and the card is so ornate. I've not watched the video yet, waiting for my headache to ease up a bit...I hope I don't have flu as I was bullied into have the flu jab a few weeks ago and felt pretty awful for a week after it...fingers crossed it's just a really bad cold. It's stopping me crafting, which is a downer, especially with only 4 weeks to go until Christmas...I may end up having to send virtual cards via Facebook this year lol.
Bejay xx

Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you Sue and your family, not to mention all of our American friends on the blog, hope you are all having a fabulous day with your loved ones- we should all take some time out to acknowledge and appreciate what is good in our lives:-)
Just for a change, I have watched the demo before I comment so I feel that I can make a fully informed appraisal-not that I can think of anything enlightening to say, just that it is to your usual exceptional standard. Not many people can take one die and create such a stunningly intricate design, the Heraldic Square is a beauty and I would love to call it mine...sadly though, I will just have to lust from afar until I get an injection of cash to call my own:-(
Had a happy delivery today, the Bose Music System that I have been promising my Mum since her birthday, finally arrived today after 13 long days of waiting- there was a mix up with the delivery, they claimed to have came last Wednesday but we were in all day and no card was put through the door. I may have no money left for dies but Brodie is pleased with the big cardboard box that it arrived in, it'll be a few days before I can prize it off him and make it to the front door without his objections:-)
June, hope your operation went well, what a relief it will be to be able to see properly again, I hope your recovery is swift...go on, buy a few dies to celebrate!
Linda, you sound understandably miserable dear, I've had endoscopes before- I once had a colonoscopy at the same time which was interesting-and they aren't the most pleasant of procedures:-( I do hope that you get a favourable result though, you have more than enough to contend with, sending hugsxxxx
Lorraine F, hope you enjoyed your Mums visit and that your voice withstood the extra demands on it. Visitors can be tiring but a pleasant distraction when we are feeling down or out of sorts, you seem to have a lot to contend with so I hope that you don't suffer as a result of over exertion. Take carexx
Bejay, flu jabs can often bring on some unpleasant side effects, hope you feel better soon and can get back to some crafting in time for Christmasxxx
Yvonne, hope you're feeling okay today honey after yesterday's baby sitting duties. I'm sure your lovely lads will treat their Mum splendidly though, you have them well tutored on that score:-) Hope to have you back to your usual chipper, sarcastic, bordering on mildly offensive self as soon as possible, after all, what's a Thelma without her Louise? Special hugsxxxx
Sending squishy cuddles to Beth, Wheely Bad, Rebecca, Jan, Theresa, Maria, Saba, melody and Molly
Have a fab evening girls

ReplyDeleteHi Sue,
ReplyDeleteWhat an ingenious way to use the Heraldic Square as a background.
Love and hugs for all

about this card is lovely. Happy Thanksgiving to you and all
our American Wilsonette's. Hope you all have a nice weekend.
June- glad your eye op went well and you soon will see all right x
Tracy- hope you had another good day x
Yvonne- wish you better, take care x
Lorraine F- hope it was nice seeing you mum, now have a rest and
take care x
Linda N- I know how tough it is to have Fibromyalgia so when
something else happening it can then be to much. Not nice to
have an endoscopy done, had one done a few month ago. Hope you
can do some crafting tomorrow and start feeling more like you x
Marg, -congratulations to your daughter x
Lorraine E- glad your mum got her present in the end, these
delivery people can run you around at times. Did you know that
smoothies now come in smaller sizes in packages of four. Keep
them away from Brodie though if you get any, even easier to hide Lol.
Hope your infection is getting better, take care x
To all Wilsonette's and my good friends, warm hugs
