Configurations

Hello bloggers!  A few more additions to my Configurations family of dies.  There are three die sets on offer this post; the Meridian Edger, the Fanciful Trim and the Swirly Lace edger.  All beautiful and very different, allowing for unique additions to your crafting arsenal.  The Meridian Edger is a bit wider than past configurations and has a separate cutting edge on both the corner and edge die.  This feature allows you to cut out of the card like it is shown on the sample here.  The Fanciful trim is thinner which makes it a perfect addition to frames and edges as embellishments. The Swirly Lace edger is delicate and filigree die cut, perfect for those special needs on cards to add a bit of an extra detail.  All three dies will prove to be useful additions to your crafting stash I'm certain.  Leave a comment to be entered into this drawing.  I will return at 12 noon with the next instalment!  All for now, Sue x

  7. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh my word, these truly are a must have in our craft stash, I love lacy delicate edges on my cards especially on the inside of frames as I think it gives a very feminine edge to them and these dies are going to be invaluable to me for this alone without using them as you have. I wish everyone good luck in the draw for these, the winner will be one happy person in these terrible days.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

These configurations are just divine. Configurations make such beautiful cards and are such 'go to dies' as they are an essential and necessary tool for quick CAS cards. You are so good at making life easy.
I am lucky enough to have a couple of your previous configuration dies and have used them so much as they are so versatile. These ones will look lovely in my house!!
Yesterday's 4pm card was stunning as well. Gemini dies are another must have and when I find Father Christmas I will tell him! Lol x
Went to my Sis in laws yesterday afternoon and enjoyed a delicious roast dinner. Why does someone else's roast always taste so much better than mine? My MIL seemed in good spirits but it is so evident that it is not going to be an easy journey. She has an appointment with her GP this morning and a long list of questions. I am struggling to keep the fatigue at bay but the boys are back at college/work today so a quiet house should help the situation somewhat x
JAN - the lengths we are prepared to even think about going to, to get our hands on Sue's precious metal x
LAINE - I think we are just set in our ways rather than being 2 sandwiches short of a picnic. In our day a phone was to make phone calls - then we moved on and texts were such an ingenious form of communicating. Now the fact that these 'phones' can do just about everything except cook the dinner I give up. It does amaze me that the 'youth of today' can pick up this modern technology without a second glance - but can they cook a roast dinner and an apple crumble? What has the world come to?! Got to say I am slightly fearful for Santa's safety once we manage to locate him x
'P' IN WALES -you should have kept that dress - these things always come back in fashion eventually - lol x
TRES - Men will never understand - I think we just have to accept this fact of life. Mind you I must admit I never got my other half's collection of power tools and lawn mowers - each to their own x
MELODY AND MOLLY - fingers crossed that Francis/Grandad will be back home with you today x
Okay people - take care and I'm sure I will 'see' you later

  76. Good Morning Sue & WW,
Versatility & beauty. That's what your Configuration dies bring to the table. Wait, what am I saying? ALL of your dies offer that and more! Every single one on this offering is leaping right on to my wish list - ha, my fingers (they aren't sausage fingers, but they sure type that way on my iPhone) made a Freudian slip..."wish list" first came out as "wish lust" - I think that's more accurate! Like others, my wish list has gone from a single sheet to a hefty epic novel! I shall call mine "Wish Lust".
Lovely to see everyone's comments, always good to be in the company of like-minded people who understand the agony & ecstasy (agony for the wallet, ecstasy for everything else) of a new Sue die launch!
Oh Yvonne, I'm afraid I'm a part of whichever generation it is that isn't really good at either of those things! I get by with technology and cooking attempts are passable - but no one is going to hire me for my skills on either front! I guess I just have to wait for a phone that is very user friendly AND that can make a roast and apple crumble! (Yes, it's ok to feel sorry for my family at this point-my feelings won't be hurt.)
Well as your morning is my night, it is time for sweet slumber...hugs to all. I'd name each of you that hold a special place in my heart, but they don't allow posts that long! Along those lines, where are you Beth? Miss you...hope all is well!

I didn't have the faintest idea what I was going to do with them though! :) I love this card, the colours are my favourite too, so with those and the dies I can't fail but to love it!

  157. I have several configurations that haven't been out of the packets yet as I wasn't sure what to do with them. But having watched the recent Hochanda programmes I now have confidence to try them on those difficult bereavement, and thinking of you cards that I seem to be making at present. These new options may well fall into my basket if all goes well with my present efforts.

Oh Sue what are you trying to do to us when we are already skint with christmas coming and you bring out more of your " i just have to have" dies. These configuration dies are gorgeous and the fact that they can turn into different shapes like Rorys transformers makes them so useful and so needed. Another example of pure beauty has been made by the set you have used and the white and that lovely shade of blue is so pretty and soft. See you later

  169. Good morning Sue,
Now these Configuration Dies are just so pretty, adding a a Lacey edge just where you need it, but now that you have designed this new Meridien one with a separate cutting edge the possibilities are endless! I am thinking back to some of the beautiful cards that were created by a different brand's larger corner dies, you used to create some stunning cards with it, so I am really, really excited to see what designs you come up with for this set! !! Today's card is a perfect example, so pretty without being too much.
