ReplyDeleteAt first I couldn't work out how you had done it so I cut it in reds and greens and then paper pieced the holly and berrys. It di work well as it cuts so easily.
I Love this striplet. It is so clean and crisp.Off to watch the video!

I have this folder, and very difficult not to colour all the leaves and berries! lol
That would take away all the delicate embossing effect!

ReplyDeleteA very elegant card that is as beautiful as it is simple to make. As a keen parchment crafter I have a stash of parchment paper and you, Julia and John are are opening my eyes to alternative uses for it. I don't have any distressed markers but do have a plentiful supply of blendable pencils and watercolour pens so am going to try your technique using these. After I have bought the dies of course!

Well I haven't been around for a while. Huge dose of fatigue resulting in quite a few days in bed then a slight spell of self pity. I am still not terribly active but am out of bed, upright and dressed - which is a huge accomplishment let me tell you.

ReplyDeleteI love this card that you have made for our delight today, it is gorgeous, so beautiful in the.white and just the added highlights of the holly coloured in with the small sprig of holly at the corner. This holly mini striplet I don't have as yet but one that I so want as it makes such a beautiful statement and would be a wonderful addition to anyone's fireplace. Its clean and fresh looking with just a hint of colour. I have all your mini striplet dies as they are so versatile and i have to admit to using them all the time.
