Expressions

Hello crafters!  Welcome back to the final post for today!  The last two Expressions dies are the Scripted Happy Birthday die, which you had a sneaky peek at during the Noble  die launch, and the You Are Special die, shown here.  Both dies are beautifully detailed, but again, still easily readable!  I'm sure they will be great additions to your die collections!  I would love to know what you think so far, please leave me a comment.  Do you have a favourite yet?  Tomorrow morning it kicks off again at 6am with the new Frames and Tags.  Hope you can be there!  All for now, Sue x

This launch is so exciting. Every die is so special as are you. Each time a new die has been posted I have found myself poised with such a sense of anticipation, fingers at the ready knowing that I need to find more words to describe just how phantasmagorical your creations are. (Yes Lorraine - it is a real word look it up - ha - beat that). Lol x
Seriously Sue - cannot even put into words what a sense of admiration I have for you and your talent x
To finish Sue, I just wanted to reiterate how much I really love you. If I put your name forward for an OBE would it make any difference on the results of the draw???!!!
Have a lovely evening everyone. Back again tomorrow for more delights.

  31. Hi Sue
A really lovely card and two very useful dies. Well I made a card this afternoon using the double pierced noble squares and the happy birthday sentiment from an earlier collection, kept it simple with the sentiment floating on acetate. The noble squares are brilliant although I'll probably never use the largest two unless I start making bigger cards!!!

    Hugs and best wishes everyone

  43. Hi Sue

Doing this a little back to front today.

I love these, I do tend to go my own way with cut out sentiments being the owner of a computer driven cutting machine but these are so,so pretty. I love the font, pretty but not too curly anx flowery so they could be used on a man card.

My Reason for going back to front, I wanted to wish Alimeccas Hubby well after his hand op. Hope your man is ok Alison, not in too much pain and that the op has been successful. Sending hugs to you both.

Sending hugs to Wilsonettes everywhere, hope you are enjoying the show! Aren't these dies and cards sooooo tempting?!

Have a lovely Thursday evening everyone,

    T x

  45. Good evening Sue,
Wow, such a gorgeous card, love it, it's fabulous as are the last two sentiment dies on show today. Thank you for an exciting and lovely day.

Rebecca, re: the 3am card, shall I keep you guessing? No I'll tell you. It took me ages to work it out and at first I thought it was the ivy snipped from the sentiment but being the detective I am looked very very closely and it didn't match up.
Well that stirred up my curiosity and I couldn't let it rest till I worked it out so I looked at each and every die on Joanna Sheens website until I found the one which matched. It's from the Greek Island collection, the corner Border Tag CED 5102 and I now need it very badly. However I need so many from this collection too. Do you think I deserve a prize for my sleuthing? Lol.

    Love and hugs for all

really liking the size that you have done the sentiment dies as they make a statement on the front of the card and for the CAS nothing else is actually needed. Two stunners ( yet again). Wonderful for a statement card - brilliant focal point.
Wheely thank you! Finally got him home - the idiot had eaten some runner beans when he was picking them this morning, so they had to put his op back! Hopefully it's been a success although the plastic surgeon is not sure whether he'll get the bend back in his ring finger as the tendon has been surrounded by calcium. The main thing is that he hasn't got dis formed fingers so that's good.

  142. Good evening lovely....should be Dame...Sue and fab Wilsonettes!

Unlike Yvonne, I think that an OBE is an insult to your genius and overwhelming talent and generosity, therefore a Damehood is the absolute minimum accolade that I would bestow on you, in all sincerity!
I look forward to each and every post you make, it's the first thing I check in the morning and the last thing I check at night, it brightens my day and I benefit hugely from your talent for design and generosity with sharing it. At a new launch I am like an overstimulated child at the fairground whose stuffing their face with candy floss and Icecream....yes, it's my idea of heaven!
I've told you not to ask me for favourites though because I NEED them all and I will not choose lest any of your little gems feel neglected or left out. I will happily give them all a good, loving home....just don't tell my Mum or bank manager cos I'll have to sneak them in in the dead of night after my recent extravagances :-)
Alison, relieved to hear your hubby's op went okay, hope his recovery is swiftxxx
Saba, I am so impressed with your powers of deduction- I too could determine that it was a different die but your investigation means that the mystery is solved and I can sleep soundly tonight:-)yes, I too think that a prize should be forthcoming as a suitable accolade for your detective skills... Can you put a good word in for me!
Oh Yvonne, where do I begin? Stop showing off with your command of the English language because I will always think of something more exemplory...such as ,and in tribute to The Krankies, Fandabiddozy!
As to my nail colour, tarty red isn't my thing so I went from mysterious and alluring black and silver glitter to rich, seductive, sophisticated magenta with an aurora borealis glitter topcoat and I think that we both know that this means that I to possess these qualities. What's your favourite...other than said red?
Please don't sully my reputation with other potentially impressionable Wilsonettes...it's low and demeaning, not to mention a cheap ploy to take me out of the running for any prizes on Sues generous blog, is this how the chair of BCAS chooses to operate?
On a more serious note however, earlier today I read an anonymous post from someone who took Sues wonderful launch as an opportunity to say some nasty, spiteful things appertaining to the 'childish behaviour' displayed in some of today's comments. Thankfully said vitriol was removed by the blog administrator but I was saddened to see yet another insulting comment from someone who is too cowardly to name themselves. This has only happened once before in my memory and shouldn't be allowed to ruin Sues fantastic launch and wonderful blog which is a godsend to many individuals whom I count as dear friends. I find this blog uplifting, heartwarming and welcoming and thank Sue for enriching mine and many others lives with it.
Sorry if this puts a sour note on what has been a thrilling couple of days but I had to say my piece.
Have a lovely night Sue and all our blog friends, gentle and healing hugs to you allxxxx

    Love and crafty hugs,

    Laine1972xxxx

  144. Hi Sue, well it seems as though even when confined to barracks I can't visit the blog on time! I don't know where the evening went to but I am here now and I turn the sentiment back to you. You are special in the way you share with everyone, you are such a generous person with both your talent and your gifts. I love this card but think I would get more use from the Happy Birthday die, I love the script. There is no way that I have a favourite yet but both of the striplets have to be in contention.

Alimecca - so glad that Dave's op went ok.
CraftySuetoo - good luck for your op tomorrow, hope everything goes well and you are back with us soon.

  149. Hello Sue.

These expression dies are lovely, I especially like the little flowers on the You are Special die. I think the shadowing of the dies is very effective. Thanks for sharing.

  170. Lovely design to this card. I can see this with a different colour border because I don't use a lot of black on my cards. Love the way you've added flowers to the You Are Special die.
I'm hoping the Happy Birthday die will drop through my letterbox tomorrow. My DH is in hospital after having an operation to have a new knee fitted so I thought I needed something to cheer me up.
    Take care everyone.
