Morning Sue. WOW This card tick's all my boxe's it's stunning. The colour's are beautiful as is the foldover flower. I had some felt in my stash so made it up using this die but they turned out like cardboard so must invest in some of the creative expression's felt as your flower look's so life like and soft. This would make a beautiful wedding card, just change the colour's to match the bridesmaid's. Thank's for another great video. Congratulation's to scotty dog on winning your beautiful card. I am sure she will treasure it forever and will have pride of place where ever she put's it. Hoping you are having a great time with your mom & family and not working to hard.

FRANCES, KAREN....yes we are over the moon that Lauren will be coming with us on holiday (won’t leave her behind after what happened with the dog sitters...Lauren has settled down better but Hannah being younger is still quite clingy & acts up because of it, but I think we are slowly getting there)...we will be setting a slower pace to suit Lauren & as we will have the use of a dog exercise paddock near our cottage then I will take Hannah into that whilst Steve takes Lauren on a walk at her own pace...as for the rest of the days we will take it step at a time. The tip about glittering before embossing is a very useful one and the technique is very effective, as is the peach and white combination. I have tried the flower method using the die and felt but it didn't come out anywhere near as good as yours, I guess practice makes perfect!

My grandad is on dy 11 today of his chemo but his hair ain't fell out yet I think maybe it won't but dd says it will an o not to keep telling my sisters it won't because he trying to get them ready for it. ReplyDeleteI am gravely disappointed not to have been chosen as this weeks winner, back to the drawing board I guess. But where do I go from here, short of breaking the law? :-) congrats to Scotty Dog though, any hints or tips would be greatfully received!
Well, who wouldn't be delighted to receive today's stunning creation-having watched the video I am very impressed at the number of hints and tips given, particularly the Pom Pom flower head. I was originally put off this die but seeing how straightforward the process is I will definitely be purchasing it soon. I love the soft peach tone and the intricacy of the design, the overall package is simply beautiful.
Had a manic day today thus far, housework, bath, hair and walkies with Brodie and Darcey before I had a bit of me time and a Caci facial...bliss, and recommended to anyone where 40 is a distant memory! If only I could afford it all over my body I might have a bum like J-lo and the figure of a supermodel...at 5ft 1 I am looking for a miracle, but we can but dream! Thank God your eyesight deteriorates at the same rate as your body so the reality remains blurred.
Yvonne, so sorry your sick. I feel really guilty after berating you for sleeping in-I hope you feel better soon cos your wit is sadly missed by us all. Perhaps I should be considered as interim CEO of BCAS in your absence-I know that my tactics are sadly lacking of late but I am sure that with the help of Deb C I could procure enough memorabilia to satisfy all of our members! But seriously, look after yourself dear, sending healing hugs your way:-)

ReplyDeleteI gave your lattice heart ef a sparkle yesterday but put it through before I attacked it with sparkle as I have used a thinner adhesive sheet (not keen) so back to my usual brand, and it looked lovely as my backing mat, and low and behold it takes centre stage on your card today. Talking of taking centre stage Sue, I could hear the bird's singing and chirping in the background of your video earlier lol see, its NOT just us that sing your praises : )
Congrats to Scotty dog, bet you are chasing your tail with excitement - enjoy your gift from Sue.

Thanks for the video showing us how you did this delightful card. I learned something from you today - to glitter the cardstock before embossing the same cardstock. I will try this technique. The look is lovely! Wishing all a great weekend.
