Simply Sentiments

Hi crafters!  Sometimes you just need a beautiful sentiment to make a pretty card!  I think today's offering says it all!

On another note, I have been asked to do a couple of shows on C & C on Thursday the 23rd at 4pm and 7pm.    I do hope that you will be able to tune in!!

    As you say sometimes you only need a sentiment and your dies do this just perfectly always from the heart.

    I love today's gift from that gorgeous background Efolder (I promised myself I wouldn't buy any more Efolders for a while but you have tempted me as usual) to the gorgeous Thanks and your beautiful finishing touch those flowers and leaves.
    Your colour palette today is certainly one of my favourite too so all in all No.1 winner in my book.

    We have a dull morning here for the first time in four weeks so fingers crossed for some rain. I hope all up in Scotland are coping with the horrible rain they had yesterday and that all are safe with not too much damage.

    To all in pain and suffering I hope your day gets better. To everyone please take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

    Loved that Thanks die as soon as I saw it, the scrollwork really sets off the letters beautifully so you don't need much else on a card except for a small bouquet of flowers...

    When is a sentiment not just a sentiment? When it's a Sue sentiment!!
    Simple but stunning card. Because your expression dies are so fabulous I can see this as a smaller card without the flowers. Just the sentiment and the pearls. An even simpler card and how quick it would be to make.

    Can't wait for Thursday. It will be the highlight of my week - even though it's my birthday on Tuesday. Looking forward to seeing you on C & C more than my birthday. I have asked for money for my birthday so that I can have a 'Suefest'.
    Family coming for a bbq today organised by my boys. I am assured that I won't have to do anything as it's a 'sort of' early birthday bbq. Ok so I won't lift a finger but what's the betting that I will have twice as much to do tomorrow! Bless - it's the thought that counts.

    Fantastic news Sue, You are back on TV!!!

    A beautiful card that says a lot without being too fussy, with few embellishments, (OOh, I dislike it when a certain person keeps gushing,'This will give your card extra dimension') that lets the words say it all. Right up my street.

    Congratulations to Doreenmj on being one of Sue's winners.

    Off now to get prepared for our Church Fete, with the weather forecast set for sunny, we are sure to bring the visitors in.

    I really have become obsessed with letter pressing Embossing Folders , I seem to have a big pile of them in my stash, especially with the Bundled Sage Ink it is such a lovely colour as a background.
    The flowers really lift this card Sue!

    What a beautiful card today, I love everything about it. The EF is gorgeous, the design whilst a-symetric is balanced beautifully and the focal element as you call it Sue is stunning, those flowers so delicately coloured and sugared are so so pretty. The sentiment says it all - Thanks - to you Sue for all your inspiration and for sharing all your expertise with us, it helps no end!
    Carole B, sorry to hear you've had an awful week, put your feet up this weekend and have some me time, sounds like you deserve it.     I have not posted for the last week because we have just had a week's break down near Chichester and had a great time although we did have a few dull days. I could only get wi -fi in one of the pubs so I didn't manage to comment although I did manage to catch up every few days with yout Blog.
    Todays' card is stunning and I love everything about it! The E/F makes a wonderful background and the colour of your card, dies and flowers are gorgeous. How wonderful it would be to receive a card like this!

    Good afternoon Sue and lovely Wilsonettes,

    I will really enjoy watching the video for this gorgeous little gem later. I love the dusky blue colour palette and the effect of the inked EF is simply stunning and adds a bit of texture and dimension to the card. The font of the sentiment is beautiful, I love the scrolls, and who can resist adding a few flowers for good measure....not me! I have been batch making flower buds and full flowers this afternoon using your technique, it's so very satisfying and relaxing.
    I am beyond excited about the great news that C&C have finally come to their senses and booked you for Thursday, and not before time because you have been sorely missed. I telephoned Creative Expressions a couple of weeks ago to clarify the rumours that there were no shows scheduled for the foreseeable future and it was confirmed. I then contacted C&C customer sevices by email to express my huge disappointment when they too confirmed that there were no plans until December. I told them that, as a regular customer of these products, I was gutted that my favourite brand was being sidetracked in favour of other brands and that I would be forced to take my custom elsewhere. Iam so glad that my worries have came to nothing and I will so enjoy a couple of hours of watching the Queen of Craft work her magic!
