  16. Good morning Sue. I love todays card as the dies give such a lovely lacy look. Both Canadian shaped sets are on my birthday wishlist so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that, coupled with the background die that I already own, I will soon be able to create a similar design. Great tutorial.x

    Morning Sue
Today's gift is so beautiful and gentle; so feminine even without
    floral or bow enhancements.
Your background colour also shows your wonderful dies to perfection
    too.
Unfortunately I cannot watch your video as this new laptop is playing
tricks on me and it's turning the video screen green when I want
to watch. I really do not like having to get used to new versions
    of technology.

We are still under pure blue skies and no rain. The grass has now turned
a delicate shade of brown and is crispy and we have small cracks appearing
    in the lawn.

To all in pain and suffering I hope your day gets better. To everyone please take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

What a perfectly beautiful card to wake up to, once again Sue you show us that all of your dies can be mixed & matched in so many effective ways...love the hint on the video about cutting outer die, then taping inner die before removing outer die, this hint will come in handy for so many newbies to card craft, for me too. I have the configurations & just adore the lacy effect around the background & the colour of todays card is also nice & refreshing too. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous card & for the video...I love to make notes on word Doc' whilst I am watching as it really helps.

Another bright day with glorious sunshine
Family coming tomorrow so off to do my early morning shop. It's so quiet without the school run, just suits my agoraphobia to a T.

I bless you for bringing out these lovely configuration dies, I didn't buy them all but my goodness, aren't they so versatile? They are on a par with your finishing touches dies, of which I do have rather a lot of.
Your card today is just so beautiful & delicate, with a subtle touch of colour.

I had a good sale at our Church Fete on Saturday, and raised £110.70 to forward to Cardiomyopathy UK in memory of my beloved husband Pete. I sold some more items to a visitor yesterday so that will be added.

  85. Morning Sue,I just love the way you have designed the Canadian background using 2 pieces because I have always shied away from using such intricate die due to the fact that I must have had to pass one through, which, although lovely, took an age to cut and even then I had to use a craft knife to finish it off. So, this is a definite die which I must have now. I always look forward to your videos and love today's card as it's so pretty. Hugs xx Pauline A

  94. Top of the morning to you Sue and my Wilsonette friends!

Wowzers! My favourite background ever makes a welcome appearance-and I am hoping that it will be included in the OneDay Wonder on Thursday when I can do a bit of bulk buying. I love the Configuration die as a frame, it's very effective and high on my list of must haves. I am looking forward to watching the master at work later as I have a busy day ahead.
I am going out for another caci facial-it re educates the facial muscles and is commonly used on stroke victims....and Kylie Minogue uses it on her bum!!??! Hopefully it will stop my face travelling south at such an alarming rate, it been years since my jowls were cheekbones!:-)
I am going to be super restrained at the shops afterwards, strictly essentials only, so that I have plenty of pennies for Thursday-Inot long to go now girls!
Darcey, the light of my life, had me trailing the streets again in the rain after 1am this morning-she likes to sit outside the house taunting me for hours refusing to come to bed. And I thought animals were less hassle than children....more fool me!:-)
Yvonne, Happy Birthday, hope you enjoy your day and get plenty of cash for Sues shows.
Cheryl, congrats at raising so much in memory of your dearest Pete, it's a worthy cause.
Beth, your daily dittys really cheer me up and bring a smile to my face, hope you enjoy your well deserved break and get plenty of man hours in your freshly decorated craftroom.
To all of my Wilsonette buddies and their furry babies, hope you have a lovely day-here's hoping some of Janet's sunshine from Burgandy shines down on you.

    Love and crafty hugs,

  100. Hi Sue.
Beautiful. The sentiment comes back to you for allowing us into your craft world of video tutorial's which I always look forward to. I had the Canadian background last month as my anniversary gift but not used it yet ! Unfortunatly the cards I have been asked for needed to be plain (the Canadian background is far from plain) but I fully intend to use it at the first opportunity I get.
I also adore the configuation dies which are highlighted on my 'gift list' for Mr L to choose from, the lacy die I do own is so special and beautiful for many reasons.
Like everyone else I shall look forward to your one day wonder on Thursday. For now I send warm hugs and love for the day.

  108. Hi Sue, a gorgeous card and in my favourite colour so of course I love it. By sheer coincidence I have used the Canadian background this morning (my current favourite background) but the more I see the more I think I *need* the rest of the Canadian dies.

Yvonne - Happy Birthday, I hope you get lots of crafting goodies.
Lynda - I hope Annie is feeling better after her injections.
Cheryl - Well Done on raising over £100, that is a huge sum in anyone's book.
Nia - welcome to Sue's blog, one of the friendliest places on the planet.
