Christmas Tree Greetings

Good Sunday morning! First up this morning is the Christmas Tree Greetings word die.  Gorgeous as both a sentiment and a focal element as well I think!  This one will do it all for you and still give you the Wow factor, which is especially helpful if you are time limited on your Christmas cards, but want something a bit bespoke!  The stair step word feature creates a lovely tree look which can be used in so many different ways!  You know the drill, just leave a comment on this post to be included in the drawing.  The winners will be posted on July 3rd.  The next blog post will be live at 10am, so I hope you can join us back here then.  It is a real stunner, that's all I'm saying!  LOL  All for now, Sue x

Good morning Sue and the lovely Wilsonettes,

Bit of a late start for me today-been awake most of the night with a migraine so I was just waiting for the medication to kick in before I surprised myself with your treats for today.
It is clear that I am not alone in enjoying this release, I try to avoid thinking about the big C word before November but you have really got my inspirational juices flowing already. This particular die really stood out for me, it is so striking and would be perfect as either a focal point or snipped into for individual sentiments. I really approve of using black in Christmas cards though not everyone appreciates it-a neighbour once returned one to me!
Ang, good luck with hubby's MRI Scan- I've had a few over the years and apart from the deafening noise they are a doddle.
Steph, I can understand your sarcasm but I think that it may be lost on those whose eyes are simply on the prize because they probably don't take the time to read any previous comments I'm afraid:-(
The sky's are starting to clear across the Ochil hills in Stirling and i am waiting with baited breath for the promised heatwave#so fed up with rain! clouds and drizzle! what no summer!

Love and crafty hugs,

Laine1972xxxxxx

Hi Sue, having spent most of yesterday working in the garden I had to catch up on the housework today, saving your blog as a reward. Just as well I gardened yesterday as this morning I awoke to rain, it does seem to be clearing up now though. I love the way you have created this card and the words making the tree are so appropriate - have you stacked up several die cuts to get the dimension I wonder. This will be a very useful die and I think that cut in different colours it could also make bunting style decorations.

So sorry Melody,

I left a comment to you on my previous message and addressed it to Ang by mistake so huge apologies- I'll blame it on the migraine and medication, but things may go downhill from here I am afraid:-)

Best wishes,

This will be very versatile!! I can see it used as is or cut apart and each word used on it's own or scattered across a card. Cutting it out in different colors and using each word in a different color would also be quite pretty! OOOOOOO, the ideas are flowing now!! TFS!

barbara macaskill said...

To Lanc. Steph,
I totally agree with you but that is the way it is when a blog or page has a giveway. Lots of people stop by and leave short comments so they have a chance at being a winner.
I have been following Sue's wonderful blog for some time now (as soon as I discovered her I ran to this blog as fast as I could) and LOVE all of her makes and her products are amazing!! She deserves to have at least as many non-giveaway post comments as she gets for giveaway posts but that is the nature of the beast. Free=comments, sadly.
BUT, we who are here every day are the true winners because we get to see her makes on a daily basis. Would love to see my name on July 3rd as a winner but will still be here for daily posts even if I don't win a die. We are truly the lucky ones!
Have a great day!

Hi Sue

A simple yet striking card. A die like this would make batch making as easy as pie, lotz of colour combos would be fun to do too.

I've been asleep most of the afternoon. It was so lovely to see my friend and her hubby- they brought me round a homemade cake bless them! I also stayed up late to watch the football last night, our Lionessess #MakingHistory and doing what the boys haven't managed since 1990. Woke up after another nap this evening in time to watch The Who on BBC, being streamed from Glastonbury. So hard to lay here and write while singing along! Recording it so I can watch back with the sound up as Mr W has gone to bed. A perfect end to a perfect weekend, especially as I have the rest of today's dies to look at :-)

Hugs, T x
