Enjoy

 Hello my crafty friends!  I hope everyone enjoyed the blog launch last week!  I still have so many cards to show you from previous releases as well so I hope you don't mind if I post some of those first.  Today's card is one of my favourites.  You may have seen it briefly during the last blog die launch or at Ally Pally or even on the POTD shows recently, but I think it still deserves it's day on the blog!  I started by cutting an aperture with my Decorative Frames from the Italian Collection out of white card..  I backed it with black card to create a dramatic backdrop.  Next I used an assortment of various flower dies to create some pretty flowers to go around the top of the aperture.  The Camellia complete petal, the Delicate Daisy open petal, the cornflower and even the tiny flowers from the Blossoming Branch were all used.  I even added in some foliage from the Delicate Fronds die set.  Next I cut a frame using the Classic Adorned Square Noble die set.  I cut a thin edge of black card using both of the Noble square sets and glued it on to the frame.  I mounted it with foam over the aperture.  I cut the expressions die "Enjoy" in white and glued it to the centre of the aperture.  The card was then finished with a white pierced mat,  a thin black mat and another wider white mat.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  7" in size.

I thought I would include a pic of my Mom's 92nd birthday, which was last Monday (scroll all the way past the cards).  She is looking very well and yes, we did eat all that cake! LOL   All for now, Sue x
