Spring Die Launch Weaving Dies

Hello crafters!  Welcome to the first blog die launch of 2015!  I am very excited about this launch as there are seversal brand new categories of dies within this launch.  This is the largest die release that I have done to date with 38 sets being included in this release.  As always, I will be giving away a set of each die and the drawing for these will be done and the winners will be posted on Friday the 13th of Feb.  so it will turn out to be a real lucky day for 38 of you!!  I am starting with my new weaving dies as I am so very excited about these!  They are probably the least exciting looking dies, but when you see what they do, I think you will agree that they are a much needed item for your crafting arsenal.  There are two types: the Classic Weaving die and the Striped Weaving dies.  They can each be used alone or together like I have done in the card sample shown.  Aren't they gorgeous together!  If you would like to be included in the drawing to win either one of these dies, just leave me a comment!  The next blog post will go live at 12 noon.  Hope to see you back then!  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue. What a gorgeous card to start your new collection. You have come up with some real beauties, again, our poor bank balances are going to take a beating now. I'm sure you won't need it but Good Luck. As usual once I see a card using a die I can "see it" and this card shows your new weaving dies off perfectly. Thank you for offering us all the chance to win, it is very kind of you. I would be here everyday anyway though : )
Norah, sorry that you have been feeling so ill, but news that you have a grandson on the way is wonderful. Our 1st grandson is due in 2 weeks so we are all on stand by waiting for "the phone call" : ))
Sending my daily hugs to everyone.
I will be back at midday Sue for your next reveal : ) Take care.

Morning Sue
First I must say thank you for my prize from the daily comment a couple of weeks ago. I was waiting for me last night when I arrived home as a wonderful present from yourself.
Secondly what a fantastic way for me to start my return a complete new set of your dies. I really couldn't have asked for better. These two as you say don't hit you straight away but oh how I love what you can do! Very unusual set of dies but really a must.

Norah - so pleased to see you back but so sorry you have been so unwell. Take care of yourself my love. Many congratulations on a little blue bundle of joy.

Have to go now and do some sorting. Only arrived back last night and it's my Knit and Natter day so will definitely be more than exhausted at the end of today.
To all in pain and suffering I hope your day gets better. To everyone please take care and stay safe. See you at 12.00 noon.

Fantastic card and die. Worth their weight in gold to now see them in their glory. Thank you so much for all you do for us with your special launches and treats.
My massage yesterday was so fantastic, I came out feeling like a million dollars, (Why do we never say million pounds over here, not the same ring to it I suppose) and spent the rest of the day so relaxed, it has been a long time since I have felt anything like this. I have another one next week and at end of the month a Reflexology session on my feet. Oh I do love those! Thank you Macmillan support.
Thank you my blog family for all your lovely comments, I do appreciate them all.
Today I'm back at the hospital for my follow up appointment with the oncologist. Everything's crossed for the all clear (though I must remember to uncross my legs or I won't be able to drive!) so unfortunately I won't be back to see the rest of today's launch until late this afternoon.
My heartfelt prayers, hugs and wishes to Gail and Hubby and Alison and Aunt. These are hard days for you and I am sure you will get through them, one step at a time.
Take care everyone, be back soon

Good Morning Sue & friends,
Well I can see some fabulous things in this card, the shape of the card for one, the sentiment too, like I said yesterday the dies don't look much until you breathe life into them Sue, just look at that background! So intricate, I can imagine it done in some lovely colour combinations!
You kept us hanging for this launch, but those of hS that visit everyday know that it's worth the wait, we are all excited for the upcoming daily treats you give us by way of inspiration and video demo's too! Thanks Sue, you have done it again!!! Hugs, Xxxxxx
Cheryl, so pleased you enjoyed your massage, no more than you deserve, I too have everything crossed for you for later, hugs xxxxxx
Norah, poor you, will a hug help? Sending you one anyway xxxxxxx a Grandson, great news, I bet Rory will love the idea of a little nephew to entertain!
Hugs xxxxxx
Cameeli, sending you hugs too xxxx
If you are stopping by for the first time, read some of the heart warming comments, the love and support on this blog is unique, it is so much more than a craft blog! So please join us, we would love your company, I got so excited for Sue last launch when the number of posts soared to 300 or more on some days, but was saddened when the draw finished and the numbers dwindled back down to under 200! Sue deserves to be number 1 in the blog charts and it would be so fitting by way of thanks for her generosity if everyone stuck around and just took 1 minute to say hi, great card, simple gesture that would mean so much and as a added bonus you get that gift of inspiration!
Sending daily hugs to all,

Good morning Sue and my Wilsonette friends,
I love the soft pink to the sides of the weaves Sue as it just adds that bit of added dimension looking like it has been mat and layered. This so reminds me of the little stools and chairs that mum used to make when she was a Craft Instructor for the OT department at the hospital. She also taught me how to weave cane to make baskets and trays (normally to sort mistakes and take them back up to where the patient had got to just so that they could have a perfect finished item.) Thank you Sue for bringing back some sore hand memories as the cane and special cord had to be tight so sort of left marks in the hands, where as yours wont.
To all the new people who join in the launch of new dies welcome, please stay and see the beauty that is Sue Wilson and we would love you all to stay and be welcomed as new friends. Sue's blog is like no other on this earth and we love to have new people join us each day.
Thank you to my Wilsonette Angels for all your kindness, your wishes and prayers and hugs, it is so good to be back and able again. Once i am able to catch up i will but to all my Angels that are going through a rough time themselves and a husband and beloved Auntie i send hugs to say i am thinking of you and them, Alison/Auntie, Gail/Hubby, Lynne, Lindsay and more, hugs of get well and hope you are feeling a lot better soon.
Crafty hugs and love
Norah (Glenochil)

Hi Sue,
Wow, what a stunning card to mark the start of this launch! It is beautiful. I think these dies look brilliant but I need to see how they work as I can't get my head around how 2 dies can do this! I think it's too early in the morning for my brain to work properly! I know how to do weaving in principle. Anyway looking forward to seeing the rest of the collection. Congratulations.
Cheryl, so pleased that you had such a fabulous time yesterday and I hope it's good news today for you. Gail, hope things went well for your hubby. Norah, so pleased to have you back but sorry to hear you haven't been well. Hope you're feeling better and brilliant news for you too! Oncologist was pleased with my aunt yesterday, so that was good news. Thanks to all of you that left messages yesterday - meant a lot to us both.
See you all back here later. Love and hugs to you all. Love Alison xxxx

Morning Sue,
Wow! a stunning card to start the launch, would have looked at these dies in the packet and thought what do you do with these and probably put them back. A video on these would be good.
I do echo some of the other comments it would be good if everybody stayed after the launch, let's get Sue back to No 1.
Thank you Sue.

Hi Sue,
Oh I don't know how you do it, but you always bring us something that we need, and it's so amazing especially when we don't realise we need it! These dies will certainly make weaving easier and they look exquisite. I see so many uses for them and I can't wait to see more samples.

Hi Sue
How clever, a weaving die. Just what I need as my attempt at weaving was rubbish! Love the card. Not sure how the die works but I'm sure you will demo it before too long.
Norah - sorry you have been unwell and happy to see you back. Love reading your comments. Wonderful news that you are expecting your first grandchild -congratulations!
See you all later.

Good Morning, Sue
Congratulations, Sue on your latest die release and, with 38 dies this time, we can see you have been working very hard!
Today's card is quite stunning and your weaving dies are such a great idea. I have resisted making any ore-orders until I could see for myself what "wonders" you create from them!
I, too, hope that those people who just drop in briefly whilst you do your Launches will stay for longer this time.
Thankyou again for your generosity in giving us the opportunity to win one of your fantastic new dies and I know you have another really successful launch ahead.
With Love

Good Morning Sue & ALL The Wilsonettes! Well, it is a very frosty morning, here in Pembrokeshire, so I don't think I will be moving very far from our fire today! I am starting to feel more human, again, after having my operation to remove bladder stones! I WILL NOT BE HAVING THAT OP AGAIN! Hopefully I will be making some cards (if my 'get up & go' hasn't 'got up & gone'! Well you really have done us all proud, with your new dies, Sue! They are SO versatile! I WILL HAVE TO GET THESE! Take care everyone, in this dreadful weather! Love, Mary Blight XXX

Hi Sue,
This is so exciting! The card looks gorgeous and I think I would use the die/dies lots as I can spend ages cutting paper into strips for children! It may not work for that but we'll see! It's just so different and takes the hard work out of an effective technique - also making each strip perfect!
Thank you, Sue.
Cheryl - all the very best for today , praying that you get good news! x
Janet - pleased you safely home! Enjoy your knit and natter!
Norah - " it's so nice to have you back where you belong! "
Alison and Auntie - great news!
If you've just dropped by today - please stay - you'll learn so much.
Love to all friends on the blog!
