Finishing Touches Foliage


 Hi bloggers!  Welcome to the first of the Finishing Touches sneak peeks!  We have three sets up for grabs on this post; the Blossoming Branches (shown here), the Splendid Swirls and the Delicate Fronds.  These sets are perfect when you just need a little extra something to add to your floral elements or, as you can see from the sample shown here, they can be used as the focal element as well.   If you would like to "pin" any one of the samples or die sets along the way during the blog launch, please feel free to do so.  The PIN IT button has been added to the bottom of each blog post for you.  As always, if you would like a chance to win one of the sets shown here, just leave me a comment.  I hope to see you back at 2pm for the next blog post.  There are several more new die sets in this category that I can't wait to show you!  All for now, Sue x

    This is an absolutely beautiful card and totally appeals to me. The dies are just wonderful and I think this has just bumped a couple of other cards out of my top three ever. Just love it and want these dies. Looking forward to your demo's on C&C this weekend

    Hi Sue, wonderful show on C&C today, but you didn't read or pick out my email.......oh dear never mind. Do you know that every time I see a demo of you doing something I learn something else, i.e. piercing ruler, score above the ruler so that you know how much to cut off, brilliant.

    Anyway I love these dies, especially the splendid swirls, can't wait to see what you make with those.

    GA Sue. I had to have the swirls and fronds on sight! But what are the blobby bits in the swirls for I am wondering? I am sure you will tell us soon. Great show today. I have the jnr plates an they are so quick to use although I have often wondered if it could damage the GC if inserted lengthy ways so you have allayed my fears on that score. Thanks.

    They are so pretty Great to see multiples of the flowers and I'm curious to see how you will use the "circular" shapes in the Splendid Swirls set The card is stunning and even though the flowers are small it makes a great focal piece too

Just watching you on the telly, it is nice to see some of your previous dies being demonstrated to remind us what we can do with them. You have just mentioned more christmas dies - looking forward to July when we can see them. I love christmas.

    Two great shows, loving the demos, and you even managed to get two in on the last show. A really pretty and unusual card, love it.
    These F/T dies are so pretty must get them all when the funds allow. I have just had to order a new machine, I've been quite disappointed with the G/C I have only had it about 18 months. I have gone for gone for the Big Shot Plus this time.

    The finishing touches collection is lovely and I love the blossoming branch die and those itty bitty flowers that are with it. It looks fabulous used as a border on this card.
    Have just finished watching your last show, sent in an email, and Dave read it out!!! Wasn't lucky enough to be pulled from the cup, but was thrilled anyway.
    It was a fabulous show, really liked your demo with the gilding flakes making the embellishment.

    Hi Sue, firstly thank you for reminding me to PIN, only I get so engrossed looking at the latest die all thoughts disappear, however now reminder and I do want to thank you for doing so I will amend my actions, but not until I gave a least one cut of some of the gorgeous dies that I now have. I've been good done all the usual jobs so now off to play but next time I sit in this chair all will be pinned.

    Wonderful card! I love the Frond die in particular, are the swirls to make spirals? that's what I imagine them to be for but could be wrong.
    Have only managed to catch little snatches of your shows but have them taped to watch later.
    Sample cards look amazing!

    Finishing touches are so so useful and these will be good ones to have. Having little flowers is such a nice idea, as there are all kinds out there with swirls and leaves but can't say I have ever seen flowers before. Thank you Sue for all your inspiration.

    Lovely lovely FT's, Sue, have more of them than any category! Wouldn't be without them. Use the sets from the first launch as often as the rest and never tire of them.
    Great samples on the shows, and nice to hear some of our blog friends - Pam, Julie Laz, Jan Moogie, Saba etc - emails being read out.

    How many finishing touches do we need ladies? ALL of them! Not being much of a bow lady, I use flowers and finishes like these all the time.
