Let It Snow

Hi crafters!  Welcome back to the final day of the Christmas die blog launch.  I do hope that you are enjoying the unveiling!  First up is the "Let It Snow" die set.  I love this one and think it will set the tone for some fabulous Christmas cards.  It is quite focal, but can still be used simply as the sentiment inside of a card as well.  Please leave a comment if you like this one and be sure to join me back here at noon for the next offering.  All for now, Sue x

A beautiful card today Sue, I agree that is the best sentiment I have seen for a focal point or inside the card. I have seen other makes of dies with similar wording, but I have never liked them, but I love this one. It really stands out against the background.
I am to lunch at friends today, but have left myself a note to catch up when I get back, cannot wait, thank you.

    morning Sue
This is a beautiful way to start the day.
This die is just so wonderful and so so effective and again one which does all the work for us.
I love this kind of die but there again I love any form of calligraphy as long as it's not my own writing.

Sandra - if it's your Birthday today have a really good day.
Steph - hope you're OK this morning after yesterday's marathon!
Norah - you have raised your wonderful son to tackle all things and he will prove that by his visits to College. I know that as a Mum we never stop worrying about our children whatever ages they are but he is a strong 'wee' Lad.
Cameeli - sounds as though you had a wonderful time this summer. It's lovely to see you back in your normal place.

I start my mammoth task today of making my great grandson's memory collage of his first year. He'll be one on 13th Sept. I did a year book for his sister Isobel's first bday and want to do something different for Thomas. Wish me luck. I know I'm going to need it as I'll be sitting at the laptop and printer all day and for some reason they don't always do what I ask them!!!

Hope everyone's ready for this last day of fantastic dies. Take care and see you at 12.00noon. (that sounds a little like the film 'High Noon' doesn't it)

I wasn't too sure about this one when I was looking through the pre order info. I think that was because I'm not a big lover of the let it snow sentiment itself for Christmas - I'm a bit of a traditionalist I think! However, now that I've seen this card I might just have to change my opinion! This is absolutely beautiful and would be great for the quick cards as well as the special cards we all make for family and special friends. 149. Hi Sue, With the sun pouring through the window and the birds singing it was difficult to take the sentiment on board but when seeing your card and the elegance, ambience and skills involved I soon decided I would love this die which I haven't ordered as yet. The embossing and pearls or is it cosmic glue added? really are superb. Thanks again and looking forward to noon. Hugs Maureen

  150. Good morning Sue and my fellow Wilsonettes,
What a really lovely card Sue and the thin mats that you put under the white layers to me just highlights the white so beautifully. Have i got the Snow on order...no, because had to prioritise what was more important at the time but i will need to put it on my need list as it makes a beautiful card.
Anne(Crawford) do you have ESP and know something i don't re last nights comment, because please share with me as i haven't a clue which can be quite usual for me being honest.
Cameeli, it is lovely to see you back and reading like yourself again. So glad that you had such a fantastic holiday and one that will be such a wonderful memory.
Nanna Tina, that is just how it should be for a lovely lady. I am glad that she had a lovely day.
Well i think we are on the dregs of the summer up here for although a beautiful day it is a cold and windy beautiful day. Washing out and just waiting on Kirsten to come so that i can collect mum's car from the garage that it went in to to get serviced and MOT. I waited up all day yesterday for the phone call to tell me that it was ready and nothing. After taking my number the twits didn't realise that they should have called when finished and didn't, so off to get it this morning if i can stay erect that is. Coffee went over the hand and weetabix crashed to the floor when a spasm decided to hit me this morning. I'm awful glad i take milk in mines so the coffee wasn't too bad, but down to one thing at a time for me.
Sending gentle hugs to Robbie and Baby Leo in their determination campaigns for living. And hugs to all the wonderful people that make this blog special, you are the most fantastic people i have the pleasure in knowing. Have a great day
    Love and crafty hugs
    Norah (Glenochil)

  171. Hello Sue
This is another great card and I love the die with the Celtic Flower Embossing Folder in the background. The sentiment is not one I usually use as I tend to be pretty much marooned when snow is around and driving conditions are dangerous!!
However I do love the card.
    See you at 1200 again!

  182. Hi Sue,
A beautiful card. The sentiment is really lovely. However I am a little bit traditional at Christmas time and like a Christmas sentiment. However this is a real beauty and I like it very much. I'm pleased though that there is at least one that do not have to own!!! Having said that if I happened to win it - well that would be a real bonus!
Norah - hope your hand is ok . Sending you a hug!
Meg - so pleased baby Leo is making good progress. Little hug to him too.
This is the house at chaos corner today! New kitchen units arrived and now in garage - worktops come tomorrow and electrical appliances on Friday! Work begins in earnest on Monday!! I still emptying cupboards and washing contents . Husband frazzled already - delivery this morning "put me out of my routine" - he ain't seen nothing yet - as the saying goes!
    See you later,
    Love Myra
