Striplet Collection (Bevelled Glass Striplet)

Hello my friends!  This is the other striplet we have on offer today.  It is called the Bevelled Glass Striplet.  I think it makes a striking background when cut several times as it is here, don't you!  This is the last post for today, but only so you can get your energy raring to go for tomorrow's six blog posts!  Starting at 6am then every two hours until we have seen all six of them!  Be sure to be there early and get your comments on all the posts that you would like to be included in the drawings to win!  All for now, Sue x

  1. Beautiful card Sue, very elegant and also on order.
Norah, thank you for asking. Robbie is using a motor driven wheelchair and has been able to get out of the hospital to the park with my brother and sister in law. His pain meds have been reduced but so far no progress on feeling returning to legs. Lets hope the rehab can do something about that. He was such an active young action man.
Gail, please give your Mum and yourself a hug from me.
Love and hugs to all, bit rainy here today.

  20. Hi Sue back again, oh i think this makes the ideal stain glass window. It is so tidy (not the word i am looking for but brain on strike)the angles so perfect and i think that this one is the ideal die to make those pesky men cards that we so love to make but they are difficult. Although not normally a black person, this card is stunning in the black with the gilding flakes, it looks like flames from a fire(imagination has went into overdrive), the different colours of the flakes just shining out saying "look at me". I hope you are going to have some dies left for Tuesday as i only have 2 more sleeps left. Hubby moaning because i have the Cheshire cat look and it is getting wider by each passing day.
Hope you and Julia are having a great time up in Aberdeen and that him up above has given you nice weather to go up with.
    See you tomorrow,
    Love and crafty hugs

  184. Hi Sue. Yes, you have just confirmed that I need all of your new dies. I just can't chose a favourite yet. Maybe by the end of tomorrow : )

Pam. Thanks for letting us know about Robbie. He will be an active young man again, just may be getting from a to b in a different way. A young male friend who is in a wheelchair after an accident says -in his own words - "Now I can get where I want to go even faster now!" He was told that by a wheelchair bound confirmed speed freak just after his accident and says it kept him fighting! I repeat that they are his own words, just wanted to share them with you. We all look on life in our own way, no right or wrong way. It suits him. Robbie has a long way to go in recovery yet anyway, the body is clever at doing things in its own time. Fingers are kept crossed for Robbie. Take care.

  185. Love the geometric simplicity of this design and so suitable for male or female. Well done Sue

  186. Hi Sue,
Before we go any further , young lady, when are you going to introduce some useful die storage! My Sue dies are stored separately but would value your take on die storage as you would be the ideal person for this task. I know you are extremely busy - but you could probably do it in your sleep!!
I'm being cheeky - but I just love everything - as do so many others. This striplet is really beautiful and not many would work out that a striplet had been used in the making of the card! So oo clever! Have looked at photos on Julia's blog! It looks as if everyone has had a lovely time . Truly fortunate ladies!
Thanks Sue, looking forward to tomorrow.
Good news about Robbie, Pam. It must be so hard for him. Sending love.
Love to all friends on the blog,
    Myra

  187. Hi Sue,
I think this geometric style would be great for male cards, the rest of the design could be really simple because all the wow factor is in the die cut.
