    Good morning Sue,
I am in crafting heaven, these are just so beautiful. how do you improve on already perfect??!! Loving the French border.
    Congratulations Eileen!!

I have a cunning plan to spend more time crafting whilst being at work!! I have been toying with the idea of a crafting enrichment programme for some of our students starting in September. As be part of a small team providing crafting activities for one afternoon a week. The pilot will be for 1 hour to see how it is received by the students. Off now to sort goodies from my stash to donate the Crafternoon Club and make room for my new collection of dies etc LOL!!
Its a grey start but I hope the sun peeks out later to brighten everyone's day.

    morning Sue
Now I really do feel so very spoilt. A French collection and I'm taking this just to be for me. (I don't want to upset anyone and of course I'll share!!)
This is so so so beautiful and I thought yesterday's collection was just so lacey but Sue you've outdone yourself this time.
I can see my saved up pennies disappearing so fast that I'll be fit enough for the O.games!!
Cameeli - I wish I'd thought of that when I was working - what a fantastic idea.
Norah - Oh I'm so envious of you meeting Sue on this special weekend.Hope you see some of her new dies. I won't say have a good time because I can feel your excitement all the way over here.
Thank you for the request to 'him upstairs'. It's at least dry this morning so something worked. The Vineyards are in a mess what with torrential rain and hailstorms. Don't think this year's harvest is going to be a good one. I'm back in the UK on the 1st Sept.
I agree Norah about the friends on here - I could not believe I had found such a fantastic set of people who very quickly became very firm friends.
Hope everyone has a really good weekend and enjoy all that you do.

Take care and I'll see you tomorrow.

  39. Good morning Sue
I thought you couldn't improve on perfection but you certainly have. I've seen all the other dies and what a treet everyone is going to have over the next couple of days. The hardest thing for me is I'm away so won't be there for the delivery and I know they are going to be sold out 😥 I'm going home on Tuesday so hopefully there will be stock left (although I very much doubt it). Today's card is very pretty and the dies are AMAZING!
Cameeli what a brilliant idea I wish I'd thought if that lol.

  110. Hi Sue,
This French collection is truly beautiful. I especially love the border set and I also think the background stamp looks like a beautiful spider's web. I think I might just have to order this one ( the border).
Gail pleased yesterday went as well as it could, it must have been so difficult for you all but especially your poor mum - give her a special hug from me. Pam hope you are getting better , Norah hope your hills have no clouds having a rest, Steph hope you are ok. Cameeli, great idea and the students will love it - I made Christmas cards with my Year 10 group to sell and they really got into it. We did rubber stamping and heat embossing, iris folding and tea bag folding. We made £100 at the school Xmas Fair one year - they were so proud! Well must go - love and hugs to all, Alison xxx

  126. Good morning Sue and fellow Wilsonettes,
A stunning card with such a beautiful border. I love the French border set and the beautiful background, it so reminds me of a spiders web but i think this must be a chic French spider as it is so fancy and lacy, it's definitely a posh one.
Well done Eileen, what a stunning card you have won, enjoy it flower when you receive it.
Cameeli, i think that is a brilliant idea and you just never know which students are going to surprise you the most with their talent.
Oh Pam, i can hardly wait until Tuesday, i am so excited. I don't think children waiting for Santa to come could be more excited than me.
Janet(Ecco), what a disaster for the wine region if it has knocked out its crop of grapes. I know that they need water and sun, but there is such a thing as too much water.Although i don't drink(too daft to start with)i know that it will effect a lot of people. We have the rain today which is normal as it the Alva Games today and it ALWAYS rains without a word of a fib, always so we were expecting it. This is the day that dafties go racing up the hills(aye, when it's wet and slippy because they don't have an ounce of sense at times) to the top and back down, nuts. I have lived in Clackmannanshire for almost 40years and never been to the games once. I normally go to the Bridge of Allan Highland Games as they are much bigger and they have the pipe bands from all over as well as the highland dancing and tossing the caber, throwing the hammer etc.
Anyway bored you all enough now about my favourite time of the year so i will say bye the now. Sorry your back is giving you gip Nanna Tina as i know just how bad it can be and how much it floors me, so i am sending you cybermail gentle hugs.
I hope that the sun is shining for you all if not outside then let it shine out from inside. Gentle hugs to all our fragile friends that just need that wee bit extra,
    Love and crafty hugs

  193. Good morning Sue,
    and all the ladies.
Well Sue, you've done it again. These dies are gorgeous and the card is beautiful. Your brain must be a minefield of ideas!!
Cameeli - I go into my granddaughters' school to do craft with classes ranging from 5 to 11 and they LOVE it. For the youngest it's obviously things like colouring and drawing, sewing hand puppets etc. But as they get older we make all sorts and I've even taken my embossing powder and heat gun (with stamps and pads of course) and they've heat embossed when making cards. They love that because it's like magic.
My daughter threw in a surprise last night (at the school barbeque) when she said that she had told the school where she works that I'd do a craft class for any of the mums who'd like to go. Of course none of this is paid work, and I supply most of the equipment on a tiny pension. BUT I do enjoy it!!
Sorry Cameeli, this post started just to say I think it's a great idea of yours!!
Pam, hope you and Robbie are faring well.
Norah - have a great time with Sue and Julia, I love your blog. I feel I'm almost there with you.
Lancashire Steph - you are not on any scrapheap. Believe me in my time I've been made redundant, lost all confidence and only now, 34 years later, realise that I knew, and could do, much more than I thought. If only I had realised it then.
Well, that's me for now, off my soapbox and girding my loins for the day ahead.
    Oh, congrats to Eileen.
Love to all, have a great day xx
