Be Who You Are/ Sneak Peek

 Hello my crafty friends!  It is finally time for a sneak peek for my shows on Sunday.  This card showcases the Cascading Fern background, which I just love and the Vintage tag frame from the Stitched Flowers stamp set, both from Justrite stamps.  It is a really simple to make card, but I liked the way it came out (snuck in a few of my dies on to it as well).  I started by stamping the Cascading Fern using a clear Perfect Medium pad on to some Periwinkle blue card.  I heat embossed it with gold detail powder.  I cut the background in to four squares and matted each piece with soft gold card.  I added some mounting foam to the backs of each square then added them to a larger piece of white card.  On coconut white card, I stamped my sentiment which is from another set on the show called Ribbons and Swags and heat embossed it in gold as well.   I stamped the frame from the Stitched Flowers, heat embossed it in gold and cut it out with the matching Vintage Tag die.   I cut two more of the same shape, one in white and one in gold.  I cut both of them in half and used them as shadow mats around the main one.  I mounted the frame with foam over the sentiment.  I made a rose from my Classic rose die and sugared it with Iced Snow, added some foliage from the Faux Quilled Leaves and two decorative stick pins that I made to match.  I finished this relatively easy card off with a pierced white mat and a few layers of blue and gold then a final white mat.  Finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 6 3/4" in size.  The shows aren't until Sunday at 12 noon until 2pm and then again at 5pm to 6pm so I will probably show you another sneak peek tomorrow and Sunday as well.  Please check back.  All for now, Sue x
