Striplet Collection - Congratulations Card

Hi bloggers!  Day five finally and the last of the collections.  These are the Striplet collection.  Similar to a background, but not as wide so there are things that you can do with them that you may not necessarily be able to do with a background.  I love having versatility when I craft, and these will allow you that luxury.  This is the Embroidered Striplet and the eagle-eyed among you might have spotted this one used in the background on the first card yesterday as it is scrumptious like that!  It is shown here and the only die set that is on the giveaway this hour as well.   Please check back at noon for the other card for this collection.  All for now, Sue x

    I have been waiting to see how you would used these dies.
    They look so beautiful on their own that it seems a shame to hid them within another gift.

    GM Sue - this one was a must have! Apparently my/your dies are on their way - yipee - might come tomorrow I hope - I have their storage (mag sheets n a box to keep them in) although I think I will have to buy more storage for them as I order more over the coming months! At least birthday and christmas pressies are sorted for 2014 at least- I wont have to sit there pondering what would I like? Back laters

    This is a beautiful card and this is one of the dies that I have ordered - keeping everything crossed that they turn up today - guess the other half will have to cook his own dinner tonight if they do. I just love the simple yet elegant use of this die on the card - you really have thought of everything for us.

    Hi Sue and Wilsonette friends. I adore simple cards like this. They look so regal and expensive. That is what your new collection does for us, it will allow us to make the most beautiful cards, either full of expression or simply plain and elegant, all looking really expensive, but costing a LOT less than we could have imagined. Im off 'hobbling' with my daughter today to buy the stock items she wants to make her wedding invites, and I still hurt after all the driving yesterday ! So goodness knows what time I shall catch up with todays gifts and posts ! Its toooo cold to go out, even if it IS to a craft store !
    Have a safe flight home to the UK today Sue. Thanks for a truly magnificent week. You must be on your knees even before you have to go to the next trade show !! Oh, for half your energy and stamina (whats the secret) and can you buy it ?

    I love these Dies it looks like lace and with Spellbinders Labels will make a sweet card background!

    Sue !! What a fab card to show off this die to perfection !! I really love your little flower to. I was not sure about the striplet dies as first but seeing this card, and I noticed the other card yesterday to, with the striplet die used three times as a background, you can do so much with this die.     How stunning but gloriously simple this card looks due to the clever use of the die,I am looking forward to seeing what you do with the other striplet as that's the one I have winging its way to me. I have only one complaint about card making it makes me feel so Greedy! I thought (at the start) I would make my own cards to be thrifty (what a joke! ) as now I WANT everything, NEED everything and use every excuse in the book to justify it LOL!     Beautiful simple yet elegant card, I sort of skipped over the striplet die mainly cause I wasn't sure what to do with it, boy was I stupid!! It makes a fabulous card especially with the addition of the faux quilled flower which I did order

    What a pretty die Sue. Have ordered this as it answered a question I had whether you could use it to cut out within a card, as you have, rather than create a separate strip.

    Will you/could you at some point show us the basic cut outs of all the dies. There are quite a few of your dies which would also look good if they cut within card but I'm not sure where all the cut edges are from the packets.

    Good morning Sue and fellow Wilsonettes,
    What a stunningly simple card you have made for our delight today. It is elegant, sophisticated and totally exquisite. I just love everything about todays card Sue as i can see it being very desirable to buyers as it could be for a lot of occasions and the not so nice one that we all need cards for.
    Flower i will reiterate what my fellow Wilsonettes are saying by have a warm cardigan that you can put on and a thicker pair of trousers as it is a tad cooler back here than in the States, they've even pinched my Ochils this morning.
    Steph your mission today while out is to find a new back, legs (preferably 31" in length for an inside leg) and a set of shoulders with a long lean set of arms attached, and have as good a time as you can. Have we breaks, even if it means sitting on their stairs or getting a chair from them.
    After the weekend i had with hubby and doors, i can appreciate exactly how you feel. I was suppose to meet my friend this morning as i found out and it was across at the Hobbycrafts and Dunelm at Falkirk. The brain has left me again, because i thought it was tomorrow and i would have sufficient recovery time to be able to go. Nope, it was today as i found out when she called and caught me in debate on whether i was getting out of bed on two feet or by falling which would be easier. Decided that the legs couldn't take any more punishment and rocked back and forth until i got there. So if you find any let me know.
    Going to sew up the shawl that i finished late last night and wash and pin it out, so bang goes the knees again, never mind.

    Yes I noticed it in the background In yesterday card it took me a little bit of head scratching to figure out what it was and as I was half way through my first die order :) I was able to sneak it in there.lol
