Yay! What a great way to start the day with a video with our favourite American . Just watched the video and I love the tissue flower (not throwing any wrapping paper away from now on lol). The cascading hearts is one of my favourite embossing folders of yours, but that said ALL your folders are my favourites 😄. I must get the matching stamps to the border dies they are so pretty when used together. I remember that tag with fondness Sue do you? I still can't master the glue dots so use creative expressions glue it's fabulous.. Looking forward to your next video ( no pressure there)

  68. Morning Sue,
Great video and stunning card. I love the colours too. I have made flowers with tissue paper before and I was so pleased with the result....must try the asters now with it. Hope you don't mind me adding this but crepe paper is another great use for the flowers...I used the Martha Stewart crepe paper which I found worked the best and anyhow the colours she produced in them are so very pretty.

  71. Good morning Sue and fellow Wilsonettes,
Oh what a great surprise and treat for us today...a video, which i wasn't expecting this week, thank you Sue for our surprise.
What a beautiful and pure looking card today. So fresh and clean looking and beautiful colours. The brain went in to fantasy mode upon seeing the daisy namely if done in bright yellow, and a brown dazzler, it could be a sunflower? The brain goes random at times but i think that it would work, yes/ no? Now i only need the daisy die and the stamps set, definately on the list for this year.
Well did everyone have a good time this New Year, i do hope so. ME i was in the land of nod thanks to the C.F.S, but i went out last night with my hubby, my boy and met up with my big son and his parents and said daughter for an indian meal, lovely both the food and the company. Respectively us parents have gained a new child, me its a big son who is lovely.
Have a safe journey back to mum Sue, and see you back this side of the Atlantic ocean again soon. I wonder if you can get a season ticket for the plane as you can for the bus or train? If not, i hope you collect airmiles to get a free trip sometimes.
The clouds are travelling fast over my beloved Ochil hills today and a wee glimmer of sun trying its hardest to break through, so hopefully will be a dry day at least. Hope where ever you all are you have a dry if not sun day.
    See you all tomorrow hopefully,
    Love and crafty hugs

  90. Hi Sue and all beautiful Winter Wilsonettes (although its almost Springlike in the Grim North) yep, even WE have sun occassionally ! Nothing like our Sue is heading for though, hohum, hope your flight went well and that your awful cold didn't make the long journey feel even longer ! Hope the beautiful weather and just being back in stunning Florida helps you recover.
Just watched the video that shows this amazingly gorgous, strickingly fresh looking card, and WOW, what with the sun and our gift from you today, it just lifts my mood SO much. It looks so clean, fresh, and almost a touch of innocence peeping through. Must keep the tissue paper my daughters bridal shoes are wrapped in when she starts her gown fittings this month ! Although I think I was a magpie (or thief) in my previous life as NOWT is safe when Im around !
When watching you stamp and emboss Sue, I never see you use a static pad, do you just not bother, or do you wipe down before you record ? Jeez Louise, I mean, wipe down the card !! How bad did that read ?!!
I also wondered Sue, if you were thinking of doing a smaller size of your own design embossing folders, as my mangle doesn't accommodate A4 stock, and its unlikely I shall have saved enough by my daughters wedding to invest in one that does, and it would, obviously be the perfect background for my daughters wedding card.
Well dear friends, enjoy your day whatever your plans, and Sue, enjoy your time in Florida (I did offer to be your luggage lugger but I take that as a "no thanks" then shall I considering you are either in the air, or waiting around in the airport - still time then) or even better, at home 'killing time' before you leave (even more time then to consider my FREE offer) : ) I'll be by the phone.
Sending live and hugs - love even !

  93. Sorry guys, here again ! Can any friends here in Sue Land tell me which colour Sue used for this card please ? Is it me, but how many of you use Sue's method of sticking ? I reacon I have uneven eyeballs, as my 'by eye' means totally uneaven, and bin !!! I have to use wet glue cuz its the only thing in life that 'forgives' me ! So many times my stupid fingers have gone into spasm whilst holding base card over my card base, and dropped, toooo late, another card ruined ! So in my mind, Sue, you are genius for doing the 'by eye' method (besides I couldn't hold my breath long enough) !!
