Hi crafters!  As I was preparing the cards for my videos, I was hoping to bring to you a myriad of techniques and ideas.  The card in today's videos shows a way to easily change your simple label shapes into some new and interesting.  I hope you will give it a watch and let me know what you think.

  20. Hi Sue
Lovely card today and fab technique to split the die shape. I would never have thought of that! Like the shadow effect too. Did you make a little blooper though? I never saw you use the label that you cut out of white! Still we can forgive you, I forget things all of the time! Saw what you did with this label on the original card.

  22. Morning Sue,

This is stunning, love the technique had to look twice to as the black card/shadow made it look like the top was underneath the aperture and the bottom on the top!! If you get my meaning but I do love how you have split the label as you say.
    Very pretty.

  40. Good morning Sue,
The background stamp that you used today is so beautiful and in the photographs it shows up really nicely. I wouldn't normally be a fan of red and white but with the black touches it makes it beautiful. I know you made it slightly different from the photographed card, but can you tell us did you cut the decorative labels 1 as triangles and just inserted or did you nip wee bits off? Just because i'm nosey.
    See you tomorrow fingers crossed,

  73. Hi Sue. WOW, WOW, WOW !! What an amazing card today !! I absolutely love it all !! An outstanding video again too !! Your colour combo is fab. I have the secret garden background stamp and it is a beautiful stamp. I love the white on white embossed background. I made a card cut into three sections a while back after I saw you do it in a demo. It is a great idea. I love the idea of splitting the label shape, and adding some of the secret garden stamp to one side with the border of pearls and the sentiment. This is such a great idea opening up a vast amount of new ideas and possibilities to all our label shapes !! A lovely idea of making a shadow in black for the label shape to. I can see from the photos that you put the decorative labels one under it all. It fits great and is another lovely idea. More great ideas for the bow with stick pins, a fancy pearl embelishment and swirly pearls. This really is an amazing card Sue !!!
Not long to go now until we get to see you on tv on Sunday. Have a safe journey home.
Happy crafting every one. Lots of love Tres x x x

  110. Phew Im here, ran all the way before you locked up for the night ! (I wish, not ran since 2000 when arthritis paid me a visit, but I can dream : )
Had lots of joint injections today including both hands which equals rest and no use of injected joints until the steroid has partied round the 'hotspots' huh, when do I get to party ay ? (good job they dont inject my waffle spot or Id be stumped) to which I hear "if only !!!
Anyway, wont be beaten, or got the better of so its 'waffle time' sorry Sue and all bootiful Wilsonettes : ) I love this card, due to lack of A4 mangle I use embossed panels a lot on my cards, its my cheat so you cant see any joins on the base card, come next year I will save for an A4 mangle (inbetween saving for my mother of the bride gettup, and the newly weds honeymoon treats) good job my craft shop has a savings club : )
Well, you will be pleased Im cutting this short as stupid hands are somewhat sore now, (thank goodness I hear you sigh) so Im signing off sending love and hugs to Sue wishing you a safe journey home, and more love and hugs to all the lovely Wilsonettes. Have a restful evening, and good sleep, and see you all tomorrow (cant wait to see our Wednesday W.O.W.)

    Love to all.
