Kind Thanks

Good Sunday morning!  Today is the day for my last shows of the year!  It does seem like it has been forever since I was last in the studio, but I am pleased to bring some really lovely products to you.  As you can probably guess, I am completely smitten with this die set.  One of the things that I absolutely love when crafting, is to put two cards side by side that have been made with the same die set and yet look so completely different, you never would have guessed.  It just tickles me no end when I can do that.  If you haven't seen yesterday's post, then take a quick look and see what I mean, same set, completely different look about them!  I used a new embossing folder called Extra Confetti from Couture Creations to create the textured milk coloured background on this one.  I extended it to give me a larger sized background.  I cut four of the tag die from Becca's Filigree Bracket Labels in black.  I cut each of them in half and mounted them peeking out from behind the Splendid Circle die cut out of milk card.  I stamped my sentiment which is from a new set called Bold Sentiments set by Creative Expressions and cut it out with one of the smaller circles in that set. I inked it with Antique Linen distress ink while still in the die.  We have a lovely new felt pack on the show and I used the cream colour from the pack to create the flowers. I cut it using the Vintage Florets die set by Heartfelt Creations.  I layered the flowers up and cascaded them across the card.  I added a messy bow tied from chalk coloured seam binding along with a black jute twine bow as accents.  I finished the card with a couple of pearl swirls, a thin mat of black and a double milk mat with a pierced layer.  The card is very pretty in person, hopefully you will be able to get a closer look at this one on today's shows at 12 to 2pm and then again at 5 pm.  I also have another surprise for you on the show today as another one of our new demonstrators, Kim Robertson, will be on the show with me today.  Kim has been a member of the Heartfelt Creation Design team along with Nikki Payne (who was on Julia's shows last Sunday) and they both have also joined the Creative Expressions team.  Let's give her a great big warm welcome today!
