Florette Frame
Hello bloggers! This is going to be the last video card for 2013. We will start them back up for you after the new year. Today's video showcases a technique for changing the shape of the die used. I hope you enjoy it!
Hi Sue, Simply stunning and so elegant. I really love the shape and black on white!! well off to do battle with the weather. have a nice day everyone!! Cameelixx
Good morning Sue Will watch the video later off to see my grandson today in Birmingham so leaving early. The card is beautiful and I can't wait to see how you did it. Hugs x Heather T
Hi again Sue. Ok, have watched the video now. How clever, so obvious when you see it! Thank you.I am going to be looking at my dies in a different way now! On? thing I keep meaning to say is that you use glue dots alot, and peel them off easily, I have several sheets of one make that I won but I cannot get them off properly no matter what I do! Any tips or hints Sue or fellow Wilsonettes? Or do I give up, throw them away (don't like waste though, unless really necessary) and buy like Sue's. Take care.
Hi Sue beautiful card Sue and so elegant, going to watch video for new ideas. Thanks for bringing videos to us they really help. Mrs B I don't use many glue dots, but think some are better than others. I usually just press the dot on with backing still in place, then pull backing away. Not sure if this helps.x
Good morning Sue today's card is beautiful black and white is such a gorgeous combination. Thank you for the videos they are inspirational. Have a great day. Love Jackie

Cam from Richmond - weather report for your forthcoming fairy dust journey - AWFUL with strong possibility of blizzard snow storms ! Sorry to bring you misery ! I keep re-visiting yesterday's card, it was so beautiful, but back to today's card, Im going to watch the tutorial in a mo, I always love to watch the video's, the way you explain what you are doing, the tips to make things easier, and what to do if something is particularly tricky, so thank you for all the tutorials this year and cant wait for the start up again next year. I love black and white cards, they look so strong yet feminine when you need them to be. Maybe next year I can start to slowely build up my SB/JR/CE etc goodies so I can actually re-create one of your W.O.W's (Wonder of Wilson)'s well its voucher day, so I can start 'collecting' after Ive received my voucher gifts for Christmas : )
Have a great day everyone. Lots of love. Lancashire Steph xx

Hi Sue Great video as usual and very clever. I would never think of doing things like that so it's a good job I've got you to help! Thanks Sue! Going to make my final Christmas cards today - my special cards for close family- so looking forward to that. Guess what? They will be "Sue Wilson" copies!!!
Gorgeous card today, so pleased to see the leaf die in the background as I do run out of ideas and ways of using mine and it is a beautiful die. Off to watch the video now
Good morning Sue, What a beautiful card and the fact that it is milk and black it is not as stark as the white. I need to build up next year to the goodies that you have used, although i do have the flower dies AND stamps(its the only actually set i have). I love the crocheted black lace, but i don't think the re-dying like you do the seam binding would work somehow, so will have to wait to get that as well. Mrs D:- i have the same trouble when trying to get the glue dot off their carrier sheet, so i put the flower or ribbon on top off it and really give it welly with the burnishing it on so that it stays put. You could also put the glue dot attached to the carrier sheet straight to the card and again give it some welly with burnishing it onto the card (bone folder works great if not able with the welly). Have a great day everyone and see you all tomorrow hopefully, Love and crafty hugs Norah P.S Sorry Sue to hijack your blog each day, but it's nice that we can get hints and tips. Your blog is our crafty clubhouse. thank you.
Beautiful card again Sue. This time I managed to watch the video first. Great idea to cut down that background to fit the labels die. Hi Sue, I'm extra late - again. Good reason, though!
ReplyDeleteReally want to say thank you for all the great videos you post for us - it really has been a total delight on each occasion and full of inspiration (not to mention NO PRESENTERS waffling on).
Today's card, as ever, full of ideas and do love the central feature cut to fit the label frame and then backed - not to mention the letterpress technique which must really try. Can't imagine a day now without a 'Sue' fix!!

First of all I'd like to say Sue what a stunningly pretty card for the Wednesday giveaway yesterday. They were lovely colours that you used. Good luck everybody! Todays card, is gorgeous. As always loved the video. It's so theraputic watching you create a masterpiece bit by bit. Clever thinking of cutting around the background die to fit inside a labels die. Will have to do the inking of the embossing folder. Not got around to doing that yet. Thank you sooo much Sue for all the inspiration, the ideas, the videos, your time and your wonderful games to win prizes and a Sue Wilson original! Plus you are there at the end of our questioning emails!! Wishing you a very "Happy Holiday" Sue and a fantastic and wonderful New Year! Have a very Merry Christmas and A Happy New 2014 everybody! xx Love Karen xx
