Love You

Hello my crafty friends!  A little cream and black number for today's card.  I personally adore this colour combination as it just looks so elegant.  I started with a piece of milk card that I embossed with the Garden Lattice embossibility folder.  I matted it with a thin black layer for emphasis.  I used the Filigree Corner dies by Becca Feeken and cut two of them in milk card for the upper corners.  I wrapped a piece of cream coloured satin edged ribbon around the card down the centre and taped the ends to the back.  Using the Lacey Tier die set (also by Becca Feeken), I cut two of the circles out out milk coloured card.  I cut a black piece to go behind them using the classic circle dies.  I made a rosette using these by scoring lines across both of them in equal increments.  I cut to the centre and folded them concertina style and did this to both of them.  I glued the two pieces together to form the rosette and attached it in the middle of my card as my focal element.  I used the Samantha Walker Delicate Doilie dies to cut a smaller centre piece and finished it with a flatback  pearl.  I tied a double bow and added it with glue dots below my rosette with a pretty cameo for the centre.  I stamped my sentiment on a tag and edged it with Antique Linen distress ink.  I tucked the edge of the tag under the cameo.  The card was then completed by adding a double pierced mat layer out of milk coloured card.  Finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 8 1/2" in size.
I just wanted to let you know that I am still pondering something fun to do on Mondays.  I have a few ideas, but no final decisions yet.  I want it to be something really good though so it could take a bit of time.

I am coming up on another exciting milestone too in my blog journey.  My blog is about to click over the      4 million mark (that's a lot of zeros!) in it's counter at the very bottom of the blog (at least as of this writing, it may have even gotten there by now, who knows!)   That is pretty exciting for me and a bit amazing too as never in my wildest did I imagine that sort of readership.  Thank you so much for your daily visits, you have no idea what that means to me!  You're the best, LOVE YOU, just like the card says!   All for now, Sue x
