Gilding flakes one of my favourites!A beautiful card that looks simple but very elegant.
I love using gilding flakes and they look stunning on your card. I think the video's are great especially for those of us who are not able to record the TV shows.

Hi Sue, great card today, just in time for Christmas. I have this snowflake and the gilding flakes so will give it a try tomorrow.
Will watch the videos too, they are fantastic and so much better than the written version! I think everyone learns from doing rather than reading although it does help to print of for reference later.

Hi Sue and hi to all that enter Sueland this cold dull Saturday. This card sure brings a warmth to the miserable British weather. Im still trying to get to grips with guilding flakes, I either use too much or too little glue, so Im still in the experimental school of flakes and hate to see my small 'trial' bits of card hit the recycle bin ! Maybe one day I will get the technique right so I too can produce such stunning work. I live in Lancashire (UK) can anyone tell me where I can get hold of the coconut/custard card other from CC please.

I love the simplistic look of today's card and the gliding flakes are just beautiful. It gives 2 looks to my eyes both a recessed look one way i look and a raised look from another way. Fantastic 2 looks for the price of 1. It has that simply but elegant look which is what you need sometimes.

I really enjoyed this video. You're right, I never remember to use my dies to create apertures!The card looks wonderful and I'm sure I can make something similar with my Snowflake Pendant 2012. I have all the other ingredients. Thanks for the inspiration.

The gilding flakes are really effective in this card. It looks as though the card is difficult to make. When you watch the video it is certainly not difficult. The videos are worth all the time and effort on your part. Thank you for inviting us into your craft room.
