Hi Sue Beautiful card, absolutely gorgeous. Looks very seasonal and wintry. Very unusual for you to make a full card ( with a back!) but it's lovely. Will be trying this one for my sister I think. Great video too.
Enjoyed, Sue?? Yes indeedy!! Brilliant video of a 'proper' card, just adore it all. You have used the bane of my life, the holly (folly) border which I have a love/hate relationship with - not surprised you didn't cut it live. It is a true beastie to extract without any damage - even the smallest crease really shows but I LOVE it! This is one to definitely have a go at. Thank you.
Good morning Sue, What a beautiful card you have made today and with a beautiful shade of blue that doesn't overwhelm the card but compliments the white of the card just lovely. I will have to try this with this set as well as the other matching sets that i have that will come out beautifully. Thank you Sue for yet another inspirational card and video. Love and crafty hugs Norah

I loved how you also created a Beautiful Micro Bead inside to hold your Holly Border and Sentiment so right through the Card you get a Awesome Christmassy feel once again As Always Sue you've ticked all the boxes. Love from Sam x

Well! Thank you so much for this demo. We are so lucky that you have given us this technique in such detail as it will be so useful. Such a lovely card you are so clever! xx Maggie (better without a bow, just a snowflake)
Hi Sue. WOW !! What a stunning card today !! This is just sooo beautiful. I really loved your video to. This is something I have not tried to do yet myself as I could not get my brain around what is the exact way to do it. ( Symptoms of the illness.) I have seen the tutorial on your blog but seeing you do it as a proper step by step video is going to help me to achieve this type of card at last !! Thank you so much Sue for all your hard work, amazing cards and fantastic techniques and inspiration. Have a lovely day. Love and best wishes, Tres x x x
Hello Sue, Fabulous video and gorgeous card, saw you demo this on C&C and for the life of me I couldn't remember how you had done it, now I have no excuse not to try it, have all the ingredients and off to create later. The colours are like ice and snow and love the micro beaded snowflake and background.. You are a true inspiration. Have a great day everyone. Hugs June xxx
Morning Sue just made a cuppa taken a look at your card which as a very wintery feel to it love it now cuppa made and in my hand going to watch the video total bliss lol.. hugs sarah xx
Morning Sue, You've probably been told this so many times but I'm going to say it again....YOU ARE AN AMAZINGLY TALENTED AND GENEROUS LADY!! Today's card is just so very stunning and to be able to watch how you make it is great! I've never been quite sure how to do that fold and cut with dies and hey presto you come up with a great video showing exactly how it's done. So many thanks for all you do for us and all the inspiration that you give us.
WOW what a gorgeous card. So much to like about this one, but I'll limit my waffling! What I'd most like you to know is how useful your videos really are. I tried 'Fancy Nestie' a while ago from the blog tutorial and failed miserably to achieve the desired effect. Watching the video was a 'eureka' event for me! Thank you Sue. Sue
Good afternoon Sue I love today's card and tutorial. I really don't think I would be able to reproduce this one without the help of your great video. Hi Sue, Hope you haven't run out of ribbon for your bows!!! This is a different Sue style but I love it. Just the kind we need to be able to send it through the post without costing a fortune. It's absolutely gorgeous; the subtle wintery colours and those fabulous dies which I have. That makes a change for me. The videos are great so please keep them coming. Hugs Pauline A x
Hello Sue, Beautiful card love video A great tonic for me, as I'm laid up with some awful bug. It was lovely to lay back and watch your demonstration, thank you. Take care love Brenda xxx
Hi Sue, How do you think of these beautiful Ideas, I love this mornings card...I have these dies so I will give it ago. Thankyou for the inspiration. Carol x
very pretty and elegant card but sorry to show my ignorance but why do you use wax paper between your card stock and the dies. I ask as I am relatively new and inexperienced at die cutting and am always looking for advice as to how to get the best from the dies and make the most of diecutting. will definitely be having a play.
Welcome to the addictive world of crafting Julye (and expensive) we use wax paper for the very detailed dies as it helps them release from the card stock you are using. A very valuable roll of paper if you dont want to waste card stock, or turn the air blue with frustration when your die refuses to part itself from the card. Hope this has helped. Happy crafting xx
Hi Sue, all I can say is simply stunning!!!!! Love, love this card and have the dies to replicate it whoopi !!! Thank you so much Sue for your fabulous videos . Hugs Jean D
Morning Sue Stunning Christmas card! Love the cut out detention on the card, can't wait to try it. The pale blue and white really makes it look like real ice. Thank you for the video.
Wow-Wow-Wow - luv it xx what is also really good is that it is a flat card so no silly postage costs to send extra special cards to family and friends xx fab xx GailT xx
Oh my goodness Sue, this is soooooo gorgeous. A really outstanding card you´ve made here today. I´m in total awe about this one, soooooooooooooooo soo beautiful.
Evening Sue - this card is stunning and the white and blue make it look icy and just right for Christmas. I am so enjoying the videos - thank you. Helen xx
Hi Sue What a gorgeous card love the colours just so right for winter time! Looking forward to the video you really are spoiling us, thank you so much. Margaret corgi owner
Wow Sue, I just love this card. Thanks for the tutorial. One to try even if not done for Christmas. just come home from Hobbycraft at the NEC. It's a shame neither you nor Julia were there.
Hi Sue. Lovely card and I love the pale blue card. Any chance of Joanna Sheen stocking creative expressions card stock in different colours? Video was very enjoyable too - you always explain each step so well. x
Hi Sue, beautiful card, looks so intricate but the video makes it look relatively easy. Will have to give it a try, it will be a card for someone special x
Awww this is gorgeous Sue! Love the blue and white together. It looks, like Pam has said, wintry and chilly! The other wonderful thing is the video. Even though I have seen you demonstrate this technique, it still wouldn't sink in about how it was done. Now you have done a video showing this technique, thank you so much! I also have these dies so after I have seen the video, I will make a few. Absolutely gorgeous cards yesterday Sue. I liked them both, but the 2nd one more so. But then every one you make by your fair hand is unique so you will make two very happy ladies out there! Hope you and all the family are well and having lots of special time together Sue, take care, xx Love Karen xx
Hi Sue, have just made your fabulous card. It even looks better in real life. I am off to bed one happy crafter. Thank you very much for sharing. Love Helen.
Hi Sue Absolutely Stunning card . Thank you again for another wonderful Video. I am going to make this card now that i have watched the video Take care Hazel Gx
Hi Sue, absolutely I do love the video. It is good to see you demonstrate the different techniques. This card is beautiful, I love the white and pale blue, very "frosty" with the glass beads. Must have a go. ElizabethS x
Love the soft colours of this card. Please could you put just a list of ingredients in the blog as it would make it much easier to know if one had the necessary things to try and make a similar card. I love to see the card but only watch the video if I think I'd be able to try it. I really work better from written instructions I can print out - sorry, as I know many prefer the videos.(probably most, but I'm not a 'visual' worker).
Fantastic videos. As much as I like watching C&C, it is so nice to actually listen to you, on a one to one basis, instead of having constant interruptions by the presenters exhorting us to "buy now before stocks run out" & "there is only % remaining" which puts me off so much. Looking forward to the rest of them. For me this is a sure-fire winner. Hugs Cheryl xxx
Have used this technique when you first showed us the method in your tutorial and was so pleased with the result. This version is really beautiful. Thank you Sue.
This is gorgeous and the colours make it look wintry and chilly. Cant wait for video.

Hi Sue
ReplyDeleteWow Sue, I just love this card. Thanks for the tutorial. One to try even if not done for Christmas. just come home from Hobbycraft at the NEC. It's a shame neither you nor Julia were there.
Such a beautiful card. Anne x
ReplyDeleteHi Sue. Lovely card and I love the pale blue card. Any chance of Joanna Sheen stocking creative expressions card stock in different colours? Video was very enjoyable too - you always explain each step so well. x
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, beautiful card, looks so intricate but the video makes it look relatively easy. Will have to give it a try, it will be a card for someone special x
ReplyDelete`Sue this is fantastic,so clear and easy to understand.Love it.Laura O
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful card. Really pretty colours. I'm going to have a try at something similar today.
ReplyDeleteAwww this is gorgeous Sue!

Hi Sue, absolutely I do love the video. It is good to see you demonstrate the different techniques. This card is beautiful, I love the white and pale blue, very "frosty" with the glass beads. Must have a go.

Love the soft colours of this card. Please could you put just a list of ingredients in the blog as it would make it much easier to know if one had the necessary things to try and make a similar card. I love to see the card but only watch the video if I think I'd be able to try it.
ReplyDeleteI really work better from written instructions I can print out - sorry, as I know many prefer the videos.(probably most, but I'm not a 'visual' worker).

ReplyDeleteA beautiful wintry card Sue, love the colours, another super video too, Carole Z X
ReplyDeleteThank you for yet another wonderful video. And what a card! I love it and watch it over and over :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic videos.
ReplyDeleteHave used this technique when you first showed us the method in your tutorial and was so pleased with the result. This version is really beautiful. Thank you Sue.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue. Just love it.Have all these dies, so I will attempt it. Thank you. Hugs. Jan.xx
