Beaded Snowflake

Buy from Joanna Sheen

Hi crafters!  One of the last of the Christmas card videos today (I think there is actually one more), but is an easy technique and you always get unique results every time.  Let me know what you think about it!

Finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  19. Morning Sue, Wilsonettes. A lovely card today, easy but effective, I think.I've started to think the 'Wilson way' ! And thinking that after all the stamping etc for the background how pretty it would be dipped in micro beads ? Although it's a pretty enough back drop for the snow flakes as it is - just an additional lightbulb moment from moi, which believe me doesn't happen that much !
I DO love the video tutorials, it helps with the withdrawl symptoms of not having you on our screen often enough ! I think YOU should have a 'classroom show too, it would be wonderful to have you on our tv screen as our leader, hero and tutor, sorry for being greedy and asking more from you as if you dont have enough to do for us hungry Wilsonettes !
Im going to play with that background with what stamps etc I have as I dont own many SB products at all yet but giving us your time and idea's you make it easier for us to play with what we do have and try and mimic your wonderful 'Wonders of Wilson' samples.

Wishing health and happiness where ever you are in the world.
    Stay safe n warm.

As you say not a traditional coloured card today but such an elegant gift - unusual colours really make it so interesting and beautiful. I love the snowflake dies and although I don't have many of the distressed inks the Peacock colour I have and it's definitely one of my favourites.

ANOTHER CRACKING CARD. LOVE THE FOREST GREEN AND PEACOCK COLOUR(TWO ON MY TO BUY LIST). FAB TIPS, PARTICULARLY LIKE THE SPRAY THE STAMP WITH WATER TO GET LIGHT IMPRESSION OF THE STAMP IN DISTRESSED INK. ONE I WILL TRY.
ONE GOOD TIP DESERVES ANOTHER. PUT A PATTERN OF INK (CAN BE ANY POSTER PAINT, ACRYLIC, ANY THING U HAVE)tWO DIFFERENT COLOURS IN A TRAY. MAKE PATTERN ZIG ZAG, OR SPIRAL. ROLL TWO MARBLES ROUND IN THE INK AND THERE IS A NICE PATTERN LAY YOUR PAPER ON IT. REMOVE AND LEAVE TO DRY BEFORE USING. COMES OUT LIKE YOUR SHAVING FOAM PATTERNS.
