Hi all! I started this one with the large polka dot mask and embossed the pattern onto coconut white card. For the bottom of the card, I used the Scalloped Borders Two die and one of the inserts with two cutting edges and cut a border from white card. I glued it into place in an inverted style on to spearmint coloured card. I cut the top edge to match with one of the edges and used another cutting edge below the white border, but only embossed it rather than cutting it. I used a score board and added some vertical line embossing to the bottom of the piece. I glued it into place along the bottom of my white embossed top piece. Next I stamped the Lace Oval Frame from Justrite stamps using a clear perfect medium pad onto coconut white card. I heat embossed it with white powder and cut it into a frame using the Grand Oval dies. While still in the die, I inked it with Peacock Feathers distress ink. The embossed image resisted the ink and showed off the white embossing. I added mounting foam to the back to raise it for dimension. Next I stamped my sentiment from the Mix and Match Sentiments from Justrite using a black archival ink pad. I covered it with a sticky adhesive sheet , cut it into an oval so it fit my frame and covered it with clear micro beads. I tucked the bottom of the sentiment under the edge of my border, then attached my frame over it so a portion of the border showed below the beaded sentiment area. I added a double bow tied from white frilly edged ribbon and a pearl embellishment for the centre. I finished the card with flatback pearls around the inside of the frame and the upper corners of the card. I finished with a double white pierced mat to complete the card. Finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 8" in size. All for now, Sue x
Lovely Sue and I love the colours and sentiment beautiful!

Hi Sue. You have made a beautiful card today !! I really love the colours you have used. Gorgeous green. There is only one thing I am not so keen on and that is the large dots mask as a white background. I think the card deserved to have one of your own beautiful background folders like the heart lattice or the tapestry folders. Other than that it is a beautiful card. I love how you use the ovals with background stamps. A great idea. The sentiment is great to. Those border dies look lovely. Very decorative. I cannot wait to see you on toolshed on Sunday. Not long to go now. Lots of love Tres x x x

You have such patience, embossing all those straight lines. That's what sets your cards above the rest. Very lovely use of stamping and colour but I genuinely don't like the bow. It's too messy for me. A pretty flower would have been so much nicer :) xx Maggie (definitely better without a bow)
