Morning Sue thank you the card is lovely. I notice you didnt emboss the rectangles or the big snow flake, I realise this would have been flattend when you embossed the small one, it looks like I make extra work for myself LOL take care Kitty

Hi Sue Gorgeous card today. Watched the video and really enjoyed it. Thank you so much for doing them. Love the Sea Garden embossing folder, have used it so much since I bought it. Also love gilding wax although yours seems to be more "fluid" than mine which always seems quite caked in the pots.

Hi Sue, Wow another fab video to watch to make a fab card. Like Alimecca my guilding wax seems very hard and just cakes to my finger and won't come off on the card except in a bi g blob & then it's ruined. Any tips as I'm really disappointed with this purchase. Beverley W

Morning Sue, Just watched today's video and what a surprise to find that you hadn't used gilding flakes after all. I just adore the Secret Garden embossing folder but haven't used it with wax YET!. I have been searching for it for a very long time as it always seems to be sold out where ever I go. I can't wait to receive it and get going on this card !! Gorgeous card Sue. I'm loving the videos. Having fallen in love with the look of creative expressions gilding waxes I recently purchased a whole selection, but am having no luck with them. On watching your video closely I noticed mine are a completely different texture. They are dry & crumbly, difficult to get out of the container, require a lot of pressure to transfer onto the page & give a clumpy result. Are mine only good for the bin, or can I rescue them. For me this was a big investment :-( Theresa x

What a stunning card with another beautiful sentiment. I really loved the background technique and will certainly try it out. I seem to always have trouble with stick pins - they never stay where I intend them to stay!

Hi Sue, another opulent card today. I have just watched the vidoe and thanks for the tip of putting a piece of card in the middle when embossing. I have this beautiful folder and noticed that the middle design wasn't embossed as much as the rest. Now I know why and want to do to to stop this happening. Hugs Christine xx

I am just starting my christmas cards within the next week or so. I have managed to order your sea garden embossing folder this morning. I have been searching for it for a very long time as it always seems to be sold out where ever I go. I can't wait to receive it and get going on this card !! I have other similar dies and stamps I can use. I already cant wait for your next video. I am really enjoying watching them. Please, please, please keep the christmas card ideas coming !! Gorgeous card Sue. I'm loving the videos. Having fallen in love with the look of creative expressions gilding waxes I recently purchased a whole selection, but am having no luck with them. On watching your video closely I noticed mine are a completely different texture. They are dry & crumbly, difficult to get out of the container, require a lot of pressure to transfer onto the page & give a clumpy result. Are mine only good for the bin, or can I rescue them. For me this was a big investment :-( Theresa x

ReplyDeleteI have just watched the vidoe and thanks for the tip of putting a piece of card in the middle when embossing. I have this beautiful folder and noticed that the middle design wasn't embossed as much as the rest. Now I know why and want to do to to stop this happening.
