A Gift Of Love

Good morning all!  Here is another of the samples from the Las Vegas CHA show featuring the new Heartfelt Creations dies and stamps.  I selected a navy blue and white colour theme and used the holly stamps to watermark the background all around the edge.  I used a clear Perfect Medium pad for this and you can see it in the close up pics below.  It is subtle but adds a bit of interest to the background.  Next I cut the Gold Labels Four out of white card and used the Stormy Sky distress ink while still in the die to add colour.  Once I was happy with it, I added in the smaller die shapes and embossed the designs into the larger one.  I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with the Stately Circle die, using the larger ring as well.  I lightly inked the inside sentiment die cut with Stormy sky then removed the dies and added mounting foam to the outer ring die cut.  I mounted it in the centre of the Gold Labels four and then glued the sentiment down within the recess.  I cut five of the largest die from the Ornamental Add-Ons die set from Heartfelt Creations and arranged them in an opposite orientation along the bottom of the card. I embossed a strip of card with my Basketweave embossing folder and added it across my die cuts as a border.  I tied a double bow out of the frilly edged white ribbon and added a pearl embellishment and stick pins to the centre.  I finished the card by adding a double white pierced mat and flatback pearls as accents. The finished dimensions are 7" x 9" in size.  All for now, Sue x
