Hi friends! An oldie but goodie for today. This is one of the samples that I made for the Justrite shows in March. I wanted to use this pretty backing paper that I picked up somewhere as it has a lovely soft sheen to it. I embossed a piece of white card using the Ornamental Iron embossibility folder for the bottom of the card. I tied a piece of silver seam binding around the overlap between the two pieces. I covered two pieces of white card with sticky adhesive sheets and cut them with the Ornate Square die. I peeled the backing paper off and covered both of the die cuts with Rock Candy dry glitter. I glued both pieces together offset to create a fuller backpiece for my sentiment. I stamped my sentiment from the Live, Love, laugh Vintage Labels Two stamp set from Justrite and cut it out with the Stately Circles die set. I inked it with Brushed Pewter distress stain on a piece of
cut 'n dry foam while still in the die. Behind my sentiment, I placed a Venetian Motif as an accent piece. I made a rose out of silver card and seated it atop a bow tied from silver seam binding and added some pearl stick pins. I matted the piece with a white and silver mat before adding my final double white pierced mat to finish it off. So pretty for a wedding or anniversary card, don't you think? Finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 8 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x
