Live Laugh Love

Hi guys!  This one is a bit different for me, but I just adore this die set called Buntings and Buttons from Just Rite stamps. First thing, I stamped my sentiment in the lower corner using a black Archival ink pad on coconut white card . I embossed it using my Cascading Hearts embossing folder.  I matted it with a thin red mat to set it off a bit.  Next I cut several of the different buntings out of red, white and black card.  I stamped a few of them with the matching stamps in black, others I left blank and one of them, I inked.  I used a Snow cap Adirondack pad through the die on the black card.  I really like the way it gives it a blackboard effect.  I stamped the individual banners with different letters to spell the word "friend."  I glued the buntings across the card, crisscrossing them at different angles.I added small bows tied from Bakers Twine in red or black as accents.  Just to give the card a more playful feel, I added some red and black buttons to the bottom as embellishments.  I finished it off with my piercing around the edge of a double white mat.  I love the way these buntings could be used for so many occasions, don't you? Finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 8" in size.  All for now, Sue x
