Hi Sue. I think the striped backing in pink/orange is for me it evokes many crafty ideas. I could see a fairy or even beach type theme to it. The card has a simplicity which is my personal favourite look for a card. Hope this all makes some kind of sense - its a bit early for me 6.15! Great card.LindaT.
ReplyDeleteMorning Sue, it's got to be blue for me my favourite colour or cards at the moment but they are both lovely
ReplyDeleteViv xx
RED colour way for me ,gorgeous card
ReplyDeleteMorning sue stunning card love the colours Tracy w x
ReplyDeleteHi Sue
ReplyDeleteI agreed when you showed it on tele definitely a Moulin Rouge feel to it. However only with the red not the blue somehow the red seems more opulent than the blue and is definitely my preference. It is really beautiful I love the gold lettering and the sentiment - how poignant!
'HAPPY EASTER'to you Sue and all your happy band of lovely followers!

Both gorgeous cards Sue. But I must say I'm leaning more to the blue one.
ReplyDeleteYet another stunning card, I think the stamp is to die for. I like both colour ways but I think I'm edging more towards the red. When my stamp arrives I think I will try it in lilac with gold embossing.
ReplyDeleteTake care and hope the Easter Bunny comes to visit you.
Red does it for me as I think its a warm happy colour and the blue makes me think cold, just like it is outside. Both variations are lovely Sue xx
ReplyDeleteMorning Sue what a great card i love both the colours that you have used. I just dont know how you keep coming up with all the stunning cards that you keep coming up with. Take care xx

Both great cards Sue, but the blue wins it for me.
ReplyDeleteHi sue
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are gorgeous but am leaning more to the red, it is so cheerful, but the blue is just as lovely. I am going away for Easter so will have to catch up when I get home, so Happy Easter to everyone. Like Kimberley am still waiting for my dies and stamps so I know how she feels.

Hi Sue. Such a gorgeous card. In the red colourway it is very Moulin Rouge isn't it. Like Kimberley and Clare W I think it's amazing how a different colour can change a card so much! I love blue, but can't choose between these two. I hope you have a very Happy Easter Sue. Take care.

Hi Sue,
ReplyDeleteUsually I'd choose blue over pink, but from these two beautiful cards I prefer the design in pink. The gold embossing seems more complimentary to the warmth of the overall colourway. The sentiment is an apt one for many of us, I think and I'll try to practise it today.

How to choose... If I was not allowed a tie result I think I would go for the rose colours, but only if my life depended on it LOL They are both stunning and who knows, if it was a hot and steamy day perhaps the cool blues would creep ahead! Maybe it's the weather influencing me!
